My father is such a joke. He doesn’t feed his minor son at all, nor does he take him to any appointments, makes sure he goes to school, and then doesn’t buy any of his clothes or necessities. I’VE been having to do these things, I did this with my other brother as well. Since I was 11 I’ve been “mom” to my brothers.
He also takes my money, and sometimes my middle brothers money now too. He has no shame. No self respect. The amount of money he’s “borrowed” from me is horrendous and the number of times where it’s put me in an uncomfortable position. How much he asks from me keeps me from moving out besides the fact that no one would be there for my youngest sibling. He’s always threatening to throw me and my brother out all of the time anyways when he doesn’t “feel respected”, which means: agree with him or he gets offended “disrespected” and starts threatening you even though he was the one attacking you or just wanted start a disagreement.
NOW he’s having his “grandchildren” spend the night. Has never done this before but what gets me is that he doesn’t give a fuck about the child he still has in the house. Now a single one. He didn’t even try cleaning up the house or anything before they came over either. THEN he expects my youngest brother to TAKE CARE OF THEM WHILE HE’S AT WORK. My father invited them over for the night to not even have to deal with them; we did.
We can’t wait to get away from him. For I certainly can’t afford to stay around him, that’s for certain.
