S-Cry-Ed
S-CRY-ED
Btw, has anyone else ever seen s-CRY-ed? It's actually a lot of fun: an anime so 90s that the 90s couldn't contain it (it came out in '01 and reached the U.S. in '03 IIRC).
It's basically cut-rate, backalley JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, like someone wanted to make a "heterosexual" JJBA, forgot what they were doing, gave up, and just made OP heroes instead.
Stands are called Alters. The protagonist is 60-70% Joseph + 30-40% Jotaro, and his rival/QPP is 70% Lawful Neutral Jotaro + 30% Jonathan, but sadly neither are giant beefs nor do they have bara-tastic muscles. It takes itself far more seriously, but it's still campy as hell in places (aurora borealis style rainbows abound, one of the best fights is against a masochistic French super sentai guy whose stand is basically voltron, the hero gets a special ability activating catchphrase ["MOAR POWER! AND MOAR! AND MOAR!], the heroes fly into space and punch out a satellite, etc.).
I recommend it if you can hunt down the eps.
The new Overwatch hero looks really dope guys
"You don't belong here. I will remove you from this land. You will cease to exist! Kazuma!!"
"You know, you talk too much!"
I honestly wish the sCRYed fandom had a larger presence on tumblr
It's so fucking good It's the first anime I've ever watched that wasn't pokemon. Those 26 episodes full of lessons and feels man It's just so good. I wish I could show my friends this anime. They seem too interested in more mainstream anime... Kazuma the Shell bullet. You are forever engraved in my personality it's not even funny.
"Don't you sneer at me!"
