Thank you for explaining the definition of high fantasy, Rhys! I was so curious on how far it can go and found out that Space Opera is part of it :D sci-fi high fantasy!
Shelldon spaceship plus the turtle-aliens out on high stakes adventure. I used all my design and effort points on shelldon, so uh, the only alien characteristics I gave the turtles were claws and colored sclera, but you get the gist lmao
Second piece is @vulstare's turtlebird Donnie! I thought I had less time and asked for her help, I had more time than i realized but it was still a good call. She did the wings, tail and talons, and I did the rest :) Gave him mystic revolvers for the extra pop of magic.
Full view of shelldon without the turts cause im.. so proud of him..
I need him for something else too! so this was a nice warmup on how to make that other one :)c
Part 1 of the High Fantasy Jam!
A huge thank you to @chil-aglia, @demonlambs, @sariphantom, @boofleboop, @kurithedweeb, @snowleopardtherebel
I'm rewatching Breaking Purple and I've came to inflict damage onto you all. I paused a scene to get some info for an analysis I'm writing on Donnie.
Donnie only cries under very specific circumstances.
When he thought Splinter lied to him and Mikey and were just using them, thinking Splinter didn't care about them. And also during a speech where he encourages his boys to be themselves.
He also cried when he thought Leo died.
In Breaking Purple, when Shelldon was arguing with Donnie, and not paying attention to the saw, it's a literal blink and you'll miss it. Donnie starts welling up with tears. He genuinely thought Shelldon was gonna die.
