@macrocosmic-star & @shepherdstars get a thing!
“... I did bring a swimsuit, yes. Reluctantly, of course, considering how much you begged and pleaded me to do so, but I still would argue the merits of remaining in my healing gear.” Is he complaining? Oh, yes, and heartily so, for he is ever so disgruntled at how easily he has been coerced to this little... get-together Meteor has organized for all of them. Admittedly, he has some pride remaining, stubbornly coming fully clothed to the beach to show that, but he’s fairly certain Meteor will get him to relent at some point, in which case he’s somewhat prepared for that happening, wearing his... swimsuit underneath his coat. Perhaps scandalously so, but he will of course be waiting until the very last second to reveal it, if at all. As it is, he moves behind Meteor just so, as if to hide himself from the public eye, for events such as these never fail to make him nervous, even if the man has insisted it will be fun.
“You never mentioned which particular... friends of ours are coming,” Allan adds. He’s never been one for social gatherings either. Twelve, perhaps he should have made up some excuse or feigned sickness. Too late now, of course; he will have to simply grit his teeth and survive through this. But, ah, he can already see just a few of them. The trio of ladies that seem to love teasing him and the terrifying Akeyin. The Sykes, also, it seems, if Allan’s vision is to be trusted from this far back. He suppresses a groan. So much energy present along with how excessive the Moonfire Faire can get... Allan simply hopes he can leave sooner rather than later. “Nevermind. I see now,” he mutters, and tries not to sound too forlorn. As much as he despises this idea, he would also hate to ruin the experience for Meteor, too.
