Jaebum, what do you think?” you asked the detective as you bit down on your pencil and tried to remember all of the knowledge you had garnered from med school; you watched as Jaebum walked around the body a few times, motioning for Lestrade to leave the area to which you held back a smile.

“Good, you’re getting better,” Jaebum stated simply as he bent down over the victim; “But that’s not all,” he added.“ His wallet consists only of bills, small bills, no cards, and it’s full of receipts so they must have been having financial problems, obviously. His finger is tanned except for a small ring - I’m assuming he was recently divorced, but it’s more likely that his wife left him due to money problems and the fact that- ”

“Wait,” you said, cutting Jaebum off as you pulled out a small piece of paper that you saw sticking out from the ground near the victim’s hands and handing it to Jaebum, asking what it was; the detective looked surprised for a moment and mumbled “of course” as he suddenly grinned and headed out the door, shouting “It’s the next clue,” and motioning for you to follow close behind.
