What is on offer?

The zine is projected to be around 200 pages of fanart and fanfiction centered around Holmes and Watson from the original ACD canon. There will also be printed merchandise items such as postcards, stickers, a bookmark, a wooden charm, and a printed cotton tote bag! More previews of our tiers will be posted soon.

Where will you ship to?

We will be shipping the zine out of Canada to all over the world, excepting those countries which are not supported by Canada Post (notably, Russia and Belarus). For US customers: the current US-Canada tariffs situation means that US customers will need to pay an additional duty on top of their shipping costs, both of which will be calculated when the zines are ready to ship (after the campaign closes). We are sorry that the situation is what it is, but we hope you will still be able to support our zine!

the full cover i designed for @very-sincerely-yours-zine

i organized the zine and have a few spread illustrations in it as well! the kickstarter is live from now until december 21st, so please check it out and spread the word!! 🥳🎉

it was a humongous effort in a crazy year, but i really loved working on this cover and organizing this zine!! holmes and watson have meant a lot to me these past couple years, and i feel so lucky that i can give back to such an enduring fandom <3

about the flowers: i think of the moss rose and the scottish thistle as representative of holmes and watson! the moss rose is from holmes' iconic monologue during NAVA where he reveals his sentimental, spiritual side, and the scottish thistle follows my scots HC of watson and represents his fealty and heartiness

the gun and the pipe are just classic pieces of holmes and watson's imagery, and i really enjoyed rendering their smooth textures

the portrait on the wall is watson's framed portrait of general gordon, as mentioned in CARD; the framed note is a reference to granada, where watson frames holmes' parting words to him before the hiatus. the red colour of the wallpaper is also partly an influence of 1984 The Masks of Death film with peter cushing, where 221B has these gorgeous, luscious red patterned walls

the twin egg cups are a reference to lyndsay faye's pastiche, Observations by Gaslight! i had the pleasure of reading it this year, and it has this heartbreaking line where irene, upon visiting holmes, has a sudden realization as to holmes' loneliness and depth of feeling for watson:

anyway, drawing for such an extensive fan mythology is such a delight, there's so many opportunities for easter eggs and cross-adaptational references!

This is what the other side looks like, when I bought it I immediately knew I had to embroider my favourite H/W quotes on the back <3 (with my sewing machine btw I didn’t do it that uniformly by hand) anyways I’m very proud of this it’s such a cool object and I can’t wait to spread my message to the world :D (btw the red is inspired by @contact-guy obviously and I love the effect)
