I will never get over how genuinely hurt and worried Mycroft is in ‘The Abominable Bride.’ It’s one of his most human moments. As the’ clever one,’ he shows his vulnerability even less frequently than Sherlock.

TRAIN TRAIN TRAIN EVERYWHERE

WAIT GUYS There are so many mentions of "trains" everywhere if you think about it. Moriarty's brother was a station master. The Lost Special is about the disappearance of a train. TEH had a bit about the disappearing car of a train. TFP shows Jim choo-choo-ing them to the next stage. In TAB Sherlock and John take a train ride for Lady C's case and there's the choo-choo sound in the background...? I don't know anything anymore

After hearing Sherlock call Jim "Shortarse" in TAB I neeeeeed to hear him call him "shawty" IT WOULD BE SO FUCKING FUNNY!

I was thinking how in TAB moriarty simbolizes Sherlock’s sexuality and queerness and that one scene where their fighting on the ledge and he says:

I didn’t really get it at first but looking at it from this perspective it makes a lot of sense. He sees his love for both moriarty and john as his biggest weakness and his sexuality at useless.

Everytime he stumbles being a metaphor for falling in love or getting horny. And he sees it as weak and failing. Honestly I think him jumping into the water after moriarty symbolisies him coming to terms with it even while he’s still fighting it. Because if he were to reject this and that was his character progression he wouldn’t have jumped. Or atleast he wouldn’t have had Moriarty fall into the water too.

I think moriarty was his biggest sexual awakening too, and that’s why it’s him and not John. Although John is important here( I think he loves both of them in a polygamous type of way) John can be quite homophobic and against the idea of them being together, so sherlock doesn’t see him as gay. He sees him as his straight crush he needs to get over and is ashamed of. But Moriarty is openly queer and flirts with him all the time. Yo Sherlock’s brain he is the epitome of Sherlock’s sexuality, he seems his biggest fear and his biggest weakness. But also something he has to accept to grow as a person.
