what if mycroft told john to look after sherlock and protect him because he knew what sherlock was going to do and he wanted john to spend with sherlock as much time as possible before the end

sherlock walks into the restaurant and he sees john’s happy with his life without him so he leaves. one day mary receives an anonymous note: “please, take care of him, because i couldn’t”.

sherlock prepared a special 'speech' asking john to forgive him and telling him why he did what he did and telling him it was always and only for him but when he sees john words just don't come and he lets john shout at him and tell him how much he hurt him and he can't say anything, he just looks at john hoping john will eventually understand

a friendly reminder that sherlock heard john saying he owes him so much, and that he was a hero, and the most human human being, and that john will always believe in him, and that he misses him, and that he needs him to come back
