I love you Toriel Undertale. Woman who just wants people to live and be safe but no matter how hard she tries to keep people close they push her away and march onwards to their deaths. She can’t force them to stay and knows doing so would be wrong but they just keep leaving and if they leave they die so why do they keep trying to leave? But maybe this time they’ll stay if shes just nice enough and if she just makes good enough food and if she leads them through the dangers and holds their hand just tight enough maybe they’ll stay this time. She already lost 8 children. Can she bear to lose one more?
