...This wasn’t the Dark World. There was the same sensation of falling Kris was oh so familiar with, their stomach flipping in the pull the whole trip down, yet another thing they’d gotten so used to. But instead of being welcomed by the drab cliffs they knew, Kris was greeted by columns and everything reminiscent of not the Dark World. Where the hell were they?
Lifting themselves up, it was odd wandering around in a place without their armor or even their sword on them. Kris had no idea what they were getting into, but it hadn’t been long until they ran into some girl. Prior to now, they assumed this place was some cavern society of monsters; they weren’t paying much attention. But they would have been fine with that, until her.
“ You’re human? ” It came as more of a question than a statement. They were surprised. Before anything else, Kris felt the most need to point out there was another human here, rather than more pressing matters.
