Genocide Verse Sans { aka Naps }
- Sans has Papyrus’s scarf around his neck. he always wears it as a reminder and to keep what little he had left of his brother close to him. - Sans goes through the Genocide run over twenty times { or more. he isn’t quite sure } before he finally manages to do something the human didn’t expect. he captures their SOUL in the same kind of container that Asgore kept the other human SOULs in. - Sans does what he can to keep Snowdin together with the help of whatever monsters are left. this includes helping Grillby out in his bar to try and keep morale up for everyone since there is no way they’re getting to the Surface any time soon. - Sans keeps the trapped human’s SOUL in his and Papyrus’s house, in a special, safe place. he doesn’t know what he wants to do with it yet. does he let the human’s SOUL go and let them reset again and hope they don’t cause another genocide? or does he keep the SOUL and try and figure out some other way to end the cycle of torment he’s long since gotten used to? - Sans sometimes sits and talks to the trapped human SOUL. he knows they can’t talk back but he also knows that they might be able to hear him. he tries to reason with it, tries asking it why it did the things it did. even though he knows it can’t respond. - Sans naps ten times more then he used to because the emotional and mental strain on losing almost everything and losing his brother has taken it’s toll on him. he barely manages to get through a whole day sometimes and hardly ever sleeps through a whole night if he’s in an especially bad state. - Sans helps Alphys in the lab doing whatever they can to piece together their broken lives and do what’s best for monsterkind. he is a little uncomfortable working in the Lab again but does it anyway because he needs something to focus on before he goes crazy. - Sans really just needs a hug and probably some counseling but is too stubborn to get it. - Sans would do anything to make everything alright again. living without Papyrus is not something he wants to live with. he can’t handle being on his own. he needs his brother back.
