what’s ‘allogay’?

a bullshit term that basically means “gay person who experiences sexual attraction”. i really don’t feel like getting into why “allo” is a bad concept in it’s own right, but a lot of people essentially use “allo” as synonymous with “having/wanting sex” and deeming that as a gross, negative thing or trying to make it an axis of “””privilege”””. couple it with your typical “gays are predatory and their sex is gross” homophobia, and you have one hell of a dehumanising trashbin label.

Aw my dude critrole is soooo good (and yes like eight light years long but Worth It) and I only found out Mercer voiced McCree after I started listening to CritRole so I guess it doesn’t have so many weird associations. I still wanna make ‘mcree dms for overwatch’ jokes tho

looking into it, the premise doesnt seem suuuuuper like my sort of thing (historically i get bored with noir v v easily, even cool takes on it) but every review seems super positive?? and since taz is coming to a close, and im now p much too far behind on night vale to ever catch up, perhaps it is time for me to get emotionally invested in another podcast
