overall, tl;dr, solid 6/10 season, solid 10/10 soundtrack bc i like glam rock, get some black writers back AND add some south asian writers so the attempts to do historic race dynamics doesn't feel so hamfisted, add more ebogo next time, thank u

people did NOT use to complain about pacing when tv seasons were 20 episodes per season minimum. the dialogue, plot, characters, everything else was routinely criticized, but very VERY rarely did people notice anything weird about pacing. Now you're lucky if you get 8 episodes a season, MAYBE, and even then there's a 90% chance it'll be cancelled by the eighth episode anyway which the writers know so they're trying to shove as much shit in as possible to fit their vision and try to hook binge viewers. And now "pacing" is the number one thing most people hate in pretty much every show made since the netflix mini season format got popular. now characters make bad or ooc decisions because they don't have time to show them coming to a decision or changing their minds or wait for a plot development to happen. character dynamics are told to us instead of shown because they don't have time to develop them organically. finales feel less impressive because they didn't have time to drag out the build up. TV of all genres used to have beach episodes and locked in a closet reminiscing episodes and filler character development episodes

I'M FUNDRAISING FOR TOP SURGERY!

After being rejected by three different surgeons (because I'm fat), I've finally found someone who will do the procedure! The bad news is that they're in california (I'm in florida) and don't take my insurance, so everything will be out of pocket, including plane tickets.

I'm able to save some from my full time job and my parents are helping me pay some of it, but the total cost of the surgery is almost half of my yearly income so I'm trying to get a big chunk of it covered by fundraising!

I know life is wildly expensive and everyone is passing around the same $20, but if you have anything to spare to chip in, I'd really appreciate. And this is me absolving you of any guilt if you can't contribute <3
