Idk maybe a hot take? Maybe not?
Here's a thought, I personally think giving out advice to other Shifters should be definitely more thoughtful than just throwing out advice left and right (I'm not talking about general post advice, more so, one on one advice).
Why? Because if you're talking to someone who's in the need of your help and has asked for advice, you fully could de-rail them off of the road to what their own personal key to shifting is (since everyone has one), we know you're the one who makes you shift. So by giving out advice without taking Into consideration how the receiving person thinks and generally works, you are risking leading them into the wrong direction. Of course this doesn't apply to advice you give out on posts, the people who come across it and don't align will most probably scroll away. But when someone is directly asking for your advice in private, it already means they're ready to take whatever you give out, it's already a different dynamic.
So in my opinion, in order to make the chance of leading someone off into the wrong direction slimmer, you should ask the receiving person to explain what they've been trying, what doesn't seem to work, how they've been doing everything so far, what feels right to them and so on. Then adapt your advice to them, so it's more personalized to them, not you, since it's not you that you're helping, but the person who has chosen to come to you.
So, no matter what your beliefs are, you should take into consideration the beliefs of the person who chose to come to you. Of course you don't have to answer if you don't know or can't wrap your head around their belief, but I fully think if you're giving out advice, you should be more careful, put in more thought and adaptability of the advice you're giving.
Happy shifting!
