“You spend a lot of time with Temari, don’t you? Can’t she find her own tour guide around Konoha? And she’s been here so many times, shouldn’t she already know it?”
Shikamaru kept quiet but was smiling slightly in dry amusement as he listened to Ino rage on her own. She was cute when jealous, he always thought, a bit troublesome but cute. The blonde got jealous so easily, he thought as he opened an eye to watch her with a small smirk, watching her face turn a light pink.
“She’s not even a real blonde!”
At that Shikamaru sighed, reaching out and wrapping his fingers around her wrist. He pulled her down on top of him, managing to kiss her immediately.
“Temari is a real blonde,” he said quietly when they broke apart for air, smirking at her frazzled expression, “Just a dark blonde. You are a platinum blonde. You are both blondes.”
He kissed her again.
“She doesn’t need a tour guide but rather she wants company. As you know, Temari isn’t the most liked person in Konoha.”
He kissed her to prevent her from saying anything to that.
“We’re just friends. Do you see me kissing anyone else?”
He kissed her again, this time just because he felt like it.
“Because you’re the only one I’m in love with.”
“…Shikamaru, you’re totally playing mind games with me,” she muttered and laid her head on his chest, hoping that her red flush would diminish slowly, but when she heard a deep chuckle, her face heated up again.
“I find it entertaining.”
