Nobody:
Absolutely nobody:
My elder brother, who send me this after we spent the whole evening nostalgic about the anime we watched as children:
Generally, I think Himawari and Shikadai should be endgame. Because, first of all, it’s very logical for the narrative (for me, I’m weird). But most importantly, it would be really cool. I would say too cool for the Boruto anime/manga. First of all, Shikadai is really important to the story, he’s a very good friend (I think the best friend) of Boruto. While Himawari is the protagonist's little sister. They are both equally important. Further, if Sarada and Boruto's relationship in some way reflects Naruto and Sasuke's relationship (although Kawaki and Boruto’s relationship does that as well), then Himawari and Shikadai’s relationship should reflect Naruto and Shikamaru’s relationship. There is an interesting thought in Shikamaru Hiden: Naruto is the sun while Shikamaru is the shadow. Shikamaru vows that he will protect this sun. (an actual quote – ‘Naruto should continue to be the sun. When the light is strong, the shadows are also strong. Someone had to bear the burden of those shadows. Shikamaru felt like that was his role. There was really no one more perfect for the job, given that his own specialty was manipulating shadows’). This dynamic is very interesting. Himawari’s very similar to Naruto, not only in appearance, she’s also that sun helps people find a bright side in themselves (like it was & maybe will be with Kawaki) or encourages them to believe in themselves again (when she helped Inojin). And her name literally means a sun flower! While Shikadai is the guy controlling the shadows. I think he would also appreciate Himawari's ability to inspire people. Also, Himawari and Shikadai have opposite temperaments. Shikadai tries to appear cold, he is calm, while Boruto's sister is very open and emotional. I think for Shikadai she is definitely the personification of the 'troublesome girl', but not quite like it was with his mother and grandmother. Yes, Himawari is very loud and hyperactive, she can also be aggressive, but of course she is very cute most of the time and won’t be that tough with Shikadai. Her kindness could help Shikadai show his sweet side. By the way, despite the opposite characters, deep down they are very similar, since both sincerely care about others, in particular about Boruto. But at the same time, this both have the potential for excellent chemistry (relationship = magnetic fields).
There are a couple more curious details: a) Hinata adores Shikadai, they communicate well, and she even asked Shikadai to look after her son. I think she would like to have such a son-in-law b) Himawari and Shikadai both have ‘princess’ mothers (women have a high status), and fathers are the main political figures in Konohagakure (Hokage and Hokage’s assistant) c) If they get married Naruto and Gaara will be relatives in some way, and this’s one of the best things that can happen d) Of all the tailed beasts, Himawari has made friends with Shukaku (perhaps this story will be continue in Sunagakure, and Shikadai will participate).
I know that Inojin obviously likes Himawari. And they have 'their moments'. It's just that I personally don't see anything special in them. And I can even imagine this weird love triangle between Inojin, Himawari and Shikadai (lol ChoCho will be happy to watch this, I swear)... And I understand that Kishimoto and Kodachi don't care about Himawari, so maybe they wont develop her character (I hate it and still hope she gets the attention she deserves). However, , ShikaHima has enormous potential. But anyway...too good to be true.
(but, tbh, I hope)
Shikadai & Himawari (ShikaHima) becoming canon would be such an adorable thing. And if you disagree, remember that if they got together,Naruto,Shikamaru & Gaara would become family.
So these days I have been watching Boruto againd and I couldn’t stop my self to draw my favorite couple of the new generation!
I just loved them together and they are my OTP .
I hope you guys like it, It is kind of cute I think anyway. Tons of love and good vibes!
Bubbles out, peace!

SHIKAHIMA HEADCANONS III
-hima loves pulling pranks just like dear old dad but always asks for shikadai's input before she pulls something awfully crafty
-when shikadai makes chuunin before everyone else (it's in the cards, face it), hima doesn't bother planning a surprise party; they instead have a tea ceremony because having a party is "too troublesome"
-shika lets hima paint his nails begrudgingly (to the consternation of him and the delight of his teammates), but doesn't complain about her use of eyeliner and mascara on him
-hima introduces shika to calligraphy once she learns that he hangs up every painting she gives him; she hangs up the poetry he writes in return
-every time boruto or naruto tries to spy on one of their dates they talk to one another in a code they made up themselves; they're both equally confused and terrified at this development
i will continue this series as long as i can! even if i have to fill up the tag my goddamn self
Starry night 🌌

"Mom! Mom! Mom!" I pouted.
She picked up things and put them in the bag, "Just in case," was all she said in a quiet voice. I knew I was getting on her nerves but Konoha didn't freeze over very much. My voice was muffled by the scarf wrapped around my neck, covering my lips. My cheeks burned, not only from the heat of the hand knitted scarf, but also the hot temperatures of our house. My mom wrapped the yarn tighter around my neck and contemplated rather she should put another around my neck.
She concentrated with her pale fingers against her chin until I protested.
"Okay, we're leaving." She said with a faint smile. Everyone would be there and of course, we were late.
"Lets Goooooo," I said with a cheer in my voice.
My mom held me closely by her side as we waved to any people we knew along the way which seemed like everyone. There wasn't many people outside, mostly because of the below freezing temperatures.
It didn't take very long for us to get to the frozen river. Although there was a skating rink in town it seemed artificial, it wasn't everyday that nature would completely freeze a river bank. I put my skating boats over my fluffy, Santa socks. I made sure my shoes were tight around my feet so I wouldn't have any accidents along the way.
As I anticipated, there were many people that I knew there. Boruto had already came with his friends which was a hard blow to my pride but only momentarily. I think, for a moment, my mom felt the same.
He laughed happily with Shikadai, Inojin, Chocho, Sarada, Metal, and Mitsuki. His hand laid behind his head and the image looked like a picture. I just began the Academy and it was hard for me to make as many friends as he did when he started. Although I didn't make complete bullies quite yet, I still didn't have memorable friends. I thought only for a moment that I could go to him, maybe. But it would be rude and I'd be intruding. Although they wouldn't mind, not in the slightest, I wouldn't want them to feel censor.
But never-the-less, I got on the ice.
I know they saw me but as I got more into the moves, I felt nothing. I just spun and twisted and twirled until I thought I was flying.
"How do you do that?" A young child said when I stopped my triple luz. "Yeah, yeah how did you Himawari-san." More young children crowed around me. The youngest of those children could have me 6.
I looked around and noticed I was being watch. Not be everyone. Just my mother, Bolts friends, and some village people.
"No, please just call me Hima-chan."
"Follow me." I said and they listened and follow behind me like little ducklings. I was amused by this. When I moved, they moved and vis-versa.
Some did fall and some didn't.
"Okay. I'm gonna show you a simple twirl. Ah, apologizes, I mean a twirl."
I showed them how to do it and they attempted. I watched. A twirl was quite advanced for a child. All of them succeeded at least once.
"Haa. Imouto, teach me." Said Bolt slowly going towards me on the ice. As the children practiced I taught Bolt.
I bursted into laughter after Bolt fell for the 5th time. "Ahh, sorry." I bowed down to him a couple times.
"Hima-chan! Hima-chan! Watched this." One of the children began a twirl but began to fell.
"AH!" I yelled as I fell on my chest, holding the child up by there waist. "Be careful." I said softly.
"Sorry Hima-chan."
"It's okay." I found myself mocking Boruto from earlier. I had a wide smile with my hand behind my head.
"HEY HIMAWARI TEACH ME THAT TOO!" Metal said skating quickly towards me, scaring away the children. You could almost smell the passion in his clothes.
I taught him but he couldn't quite get it. I think he was nervous. The children left and took there naps but I promise I'd teach them more things.
I loved children but I was happy that I could finally skate by myself. My foot twisted me around as I switched feet. My right foot did circles, then my left foot (Carmel Spin). Then I just skated around the river. Doing nothing special. I did another jump and then another until a fell. I laughed and got back up.
"Eh. Himawari." Said Shikadai, " You taught everyone, and since Boruto is leaving I can't make a fool of myself. C-can you teach me how to do that thing."
"Of course." I took the older boy's wrist and we skated. Just simple stuff at first.
"Okay, tell me what you can do best."
"Not much."
"Well. Shikadai, I know it's in your blood not to want to try with much but, this is gonna take some energy," I joked. He slipped a few times and of course I helped him up.
"Now don't laugh." He tried a jump and began to fall. I caught him.
"Gess, what the crap! You can't do that just yet."
"So I see your not as much as genius as we thought." Inojin said. "Himawari-chan has been learning to skate for most of her life. How could you ever expect-" I hit Inojin in the shoulder.
"Eii, play nice." He grabbed his shoulder and winced. "You have to think of others feeling just a little bit ya know. I wanna see you try that without much practice and not fall."
"Hai." He rubbed his neck. He was just like Sai, he had that same smile. That memorable smile. Mitsuki had the smile of Orochimaru. I wonder who's smile I shared?
My mother had already left about an hour ago. But It was to late and I needed to go home.
"Hima-chan. I can't just let you go home one your home."
So we started home. It wasn't long but it was filled with silence. But right before I left I said," Ya know Shikadai, you have way more talent than you put on."
"I should be saying that to you..." He blushed.
"Whatever you say. Arigato Gozaimas. We should do that again"
There Is probably a thousand errors and lol yeah but. Stay tuned.
