February Writing Goals

First thing first - 

My January writing goal on my year tracker was 6352. I set a personal goal for 7500 words - which I achieved on the 24th, and I’m now at 9686 words. I know it’s probably not much compared to some others, but I’m damn fucking proud of it! 

Current ACTIVE WIP word counts - 

Untamed Hearts (Ziam) Chapter 4 - 14,886 words 

Untamed Hearts (Ziam) Chapter 5 - 5705 words

Live a Thousand Lifetimes (Ziam)- 14,415 words

Shine On Through (Larry) - 9462 words

Shadow Dancing (Ziam) -mostly outlined

 On to February - Written goals are tangible goals, and I’m a lot more accountable when I put myself on the spot, so here’s the plan for February’s writing

Tracker Goal -  5943 words

Personal Goal - 7000 words

Complete one other current WIP

start plot outline for How Do You Measure

Making inroads on Shadow Dancing will more than enable me to make my monthly writing goal. Hopefully my work schedule will co-operate with the plan.

Six Sentence Sunday

I was tagged by my lovely friend @reminiscingintherain for Six Sentence Sunday - so here’s an excerpt of my Northern lights Larry fic - WHICH FINALLY HAS A NAME!

So, from Shine on Through  -

Dávved picked up Jompa’s lead and with a shout and a jerk, they were underway. They moved slowly through town, Harry waving back at people who waved to them from the pavements along the side of the streets. They reached the outskirts in no time, the sled picking up pace once they cleared the last building, the lights of Tromsø soon left behind. A magnificent crystalline wonderland stretched ahead of them, a mist of snow whirling around them on the breath of the crisp zephyr the blew in off the water. Stars twinkled in the infinite unblemished velvet sky, the vast darkness aglow with the undulating waves of the Aurora Borealis dancing above them. The blankets shifted as Louis reached for Harry’s hand, an audible gasp leaving him in a wondrous sigh at the sight.
