What’s up GG? Taemin from Shinee has traditional ‘emotional’ placements like Cancer Sun, Cancer Moon, & Cancer Mercury, yet it seems to be that Kai is the more emotional friend, despite being a Capricorn Sun, Aquarius Moon, Aquarius Mercury, even going as far as crying for awards TAEMIN/Shinee won. Can you explain this dynamic because I’m also a Cancer Moon, with Aquarius Moon and Capricorn Moon friend, who also tends to the less emotional one in the duo.

Hey there! 💕💓❤️ You can say they.. tend to evoke emotions? Rather than being ‘emotional’ I think they have great sense of control and situational reflex. I don’t think I’ve ever met a Cancer who goes out and decide they’re going to lose their shit in front of others today, like. I think they have a good head on their shoulders and tend to think objectively about a situation. But they don’t discount their emotional discomfort with something (vibe) especially if it’s survival instinct/personal? I think they can be rather smart this way, so rather than saying they’re?? emotional??? I’d say they’re emotionally intelligent?

The thing about Capricorn-Cancer is that Capricorn-Cancer on the most black and white spectrum gets separated into: ‘too emotional’ and ‘definitely unemotional’. Which is untrue for both of them! 

Capricorn-Cancer: On ‘Emotionality’ ⬇️

This is getting really long, I just wanted to say that Capricorn do have emotions despite the stereotype. But while Cancer may have better practice with dealing with emotions/expressing sometimes (not always the case!) - their emotionally repressed, constantly constipated counterpart Capricorn who usually starts at ground zero on these things (unless they grew up with good emotional foundation/support from others who taught them this!) -- is kind of vulnerable when learning to express any form of personal emotional attachment to anyone ever sometimes. 

It can be overwhelming, especially when they learn how to and is accepted for it. Literally floodgates. That’s a Capricorn who loves you if they’re crying for you. It’s because they know how hard you worked and is emotionally invested in your achievement as well. I don’t think any of these two signs know what its like to not place themselves in the place of others? Your achievement is their achievements, your success is their success when they genuinely love you. Thats a saturnian man who believes in hard-work and to see someone who’s deserving, good, kind, taught him things and is so close to him overcome his own hardship and receive his dued-rewards, that’s just and right y know? That’s how the world should be, rewarding those who deserves it at the end of a hard part in a journey/arc. 

To be honest, I don’t think Capricorns are bad at emotions completely. I think they can be good at it. It’s just - they’re a little naive when it comes to emotions. They have lots, but in terms of self-expression sometimes it’s simply just not knowing how to do it the way they want to. And with a Cancer, it’s easier because the Cancer seems to have more of an idea on how to express themselves without losing themselves? I have no regrets suggesting that perhaps they are generally a little less sharp than Cancer in this area, but it balances out somehow because both of them gets things done. 

Since both of them like control, it’s nice when one of them can inspire the other to let loose/be themselves a little without feeling like either are dragging each other down. A give and take of taking care of each other and nurturing is how I’d describe this polar dynamic? They’re more similar than they realize and in a way, I think they both evoke stuff in each other. 

On the other hand, from what I’ve observed Kai seems to be a Capricorn who’s quite adept at emotions as well! The sentimentality both of them (Cancer-Capricorn) holds are the same though, and I’m not surprised he cried. There’s other examples of Capricorn in the industry who tears up/choke up writing heartfelt letters for people they love/care about, or those who genuinely just wants to express the sincerity of their affection but is having a hard time doing so/doesn’t know how to do it properly without being doubted. Both of them (Cancer-Capricorn) are quite cautious, but - I think they do well when expressing themselves together. That’s what I think! 💕💓❤️

Taemin - this is hard, because I was a taemint before anything else. So, I associate so much with him. Any dance number is obviously a good answer—Everybody, for example. I was also going to say Girls, Girls, Girls 😆 I will go with Married to the Music though

I got into SHINee in a backwards way. I listened to Taemin first, and first and foremost became a taemint. As Caroline summarized it my journey went Taemin-Key-a little shinee-Onew-Shinee-Jonghyun 😆 My first Taemin song was Into the Rhythm followed by Holy Water, I believe. First SHINee song though was Evil from SHINee World III, I think.

There are quite a few that have made me cry, both happy and sad tears. Mostly recently I cried at Replay because I watched the performance of it from the From Now On show in the Tokyo Dome

I’m gonna assume that their girlfriend would be in college though bc if any younger than that it’d be illegal ?

So Onew graduated second in his class, he’s gotta be pretty smart, yeah? I can see him trying to help in areas needed, as far as research and tutoring goes. He’d encourage you to do your very best ^^

Jonghyun would probably be the one to remind you to eat, and to sleep, and to take a break every once in a while. He’d cheerfully keep an eye on you, and like Onew would encourage you to do your best without pushing yourself too hard.

Key might get a little mad, not at you but at the professor for assigning you too much work lol. Every time he sees you doing work he’d probably make some snide comment like, “That teacher better not assign you so much work the next time,” and he’d TRY to help here and there.

Minho would make you some nice, hot tea every once in a while and be sure to treat you to a little dinner or lunch (like maybe to casually get some fast food or whatever) to take your mind off of the school work.

I see Taemin getting a little whiny at some points when you choose to do your work over him (take that as you may lmao). But he’d grow to understand. He probably would just stay by your side while you do your work, though, to keep you company and to keep you from flipping out at all of your work. (I just got this cute little thought of him giving you a massage while you type out an essay or something omg )
