how did everyone here actually get into btvs? like, whats everyone's meet cute with the show? im curious...
#ill go first#i was reading percy jackson for the first time in 2017 and one of the reviews mentioned buffy#and obviously id heard of it vaguely through pop culture but it wasn't until then that i discovered she was a girl#but i felt that i wasn't old enough yet (i was 16 but also i was right i wouldn't have handled ep 2) so i simply pushed it aside for 7 year#and then in early 2024 i saw a reddit comment mention dawn#which intrigued me but i once again filed it away for later#and then soon after i was watching a video about newsies (because of course i was) and the youtuber mentioned omwf and also tillow#and i was like wait this show has a musical episode?? well now i NEED to watch it#and then like a week later i was bored and needed a sewing show to put on#and now its been almost 2.5 years...#soulmates who keep missing eachother or something idk#btvs#buffy the vampire slayer#buffyverse#buffy summers#feels necessary to add that this was after the absolute disappointment of pjo s1 and i NEEDED something#with a protagonist like percy#and tbf she is#other fun fact is i went in entirely blind apart from a vague understanding of dawn#and tillow and omwf existing#i had zero idea of that damned love [not] triangle
