hey there how are you doing? I spend the last week reading snk and I just read chapter 101 and I was “it would be amazing to see Kate’s thoughts about it” if that’s ok and if you are into writing metas about snk, could you do it? The question here is about Eren, what do you think he’s planning? Mikasa said something about Eren coming home, do you thing he and Armin aren’t in a good term anymore? And if so he’s with Zeke now? I’m sorry the ask is too big lol too excited about it! Hope u are ok 💜

Hey friend!!! I’m all right! I’m glad to hear you were reading SnK; I love that series too and am excited to get asks about it! 

Eren’s plans, though... I have NO idea lol. Regarding Mikasa and Armin--yes, I do think he’s acting independently from the Survey Corps... to an extent. Because it seems as if while they’re there, Mikasa just wants him to come back, so it seems as if she’s not 100% behind whatever this scheme was. And there was that interview Isayama gave ages ago where he discussed Eren and Armin going in different directions. It’s really hard to speculate because we haven’t seen the Survey Corps in so long, and there’s been a 4 year time skip. Eren’s clearly developed a hell of a lot, and so it’s hard for me to speculate until we see them again. But suffice to say yes, I think there may have been some kind of separation, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t on good terms, but rather that Eren decided to go off on his own. We know he believes Armin is the hero of this story after all (which I think is absolutely the case) so what role does that leave for Eren? I wonder if he even told Armin or Mikasa about how he needed Historia’s royal blood... that may explain a lot of it, if he didn’t. 

As for Zeke... I wrote this on it. Suffice to say: it’s a huge damn coincidence that Zeke went MIA right before the play disaster, and there is that letter Eren wrote which was clearly either to the Survey Corps, or Zeke. So my answer is that I think it’s entirely possible they’re working together, but I really need more information to make a definite answer. Zeke is certainly suspicious, and Zeke has royal blood, which Eren knows. If he doesn’t want to sacrifice Historia, the only other way to end the conflict is to work with Zeke to use the Coordinate. But if they’re working together… hm. What exactly are the terms of such an alliance? It’s hard to imagine those.
