It was a vacation but there was a big storm outside and about every cafés or shops were closed. That sounded about the worst possible time to meet up with a friend you hadn’t seen in forever, but only if you didn’t so happen to be a Guardian of Marchënland.

Miyuki was lying in the grass, chatting the time away and occasionally taking a sip from her coffee. Even the outside of the clubhouse was pretty comfortable, and she really couldn’t recall a single time it had rained in the Mysterious Library.

“... But yeah, I think I shouldn’t have spent so much of my profit from the holidays." She started, stretching in the grass right next to her friend who was sitting against a tree trunk. “Save for manga, January is really slow on new book releases, but at least I can count on my regulars.“

"That’s about it for me! Did anything happen at your school? Your third years are graduating soon, right?”

卐 is “Worst role play-related encounter and what advice you would give to others to avoid similar situations?“

Drama I had way way back. I was just starting in tumblr, I think I had less than a year here. But it was mostly because of my own stupidness and partially because of douchey people. The only advice I could give about it is that you shouldn’t think anyone here owes you anything besides courtesy and that you should try to talk to people before passing judgement on them. Sometimes is your own shit was stabs you on the back.

I think I should mention lumi here. She’s currently roleplaying Lillie from Pokemon Sun/Moon @herbloom. I can’t remember the first time I’ve met her, not right now at least (My memory is excessively selective, sorry), but reading her stuff forced me to step up my english. I’ve never been in an academy so that’s why my writing sometimes seems a bit broken but I had to do it. I felt that I had to work on it to not disgrace our threads.

                 she has eyes only for the lamp in front of her, running wild and aimless as she stares into the bulb.  she leaps easily over obstacles in her path, right up until her prehensile toes dig into a patch of mud and she loses her footing, tumbling forward and launching the lamp at a stranger only a few feet away.

“do you like video games too?” she asked the girl who looks like a student as well that is playing on a handheld device. usagi sat next to her at the table she sits at in the cafe. curious what kind of game she is playing but she didn’t want to look over her shoulder. that would be rude. “there is actually a really great arcade down the road. have you been to it? i go there after school every day!”

🎥- Favorite movie?

Anything Marvel is definitely a favourite! Or Disney! I’m very basic (like very very basic ugh) and I just really like superhero movies or really cute sappy movies! It’s so hard to pick one favourite! Oh and Jurassic Park, those movies are amazing! 

🍦- Favorite ice cream flavor?

Mint Chocolate Chip! This is probably the only favourite question where I have one answer xD haha

Another seemingly ordinary work day at her bookstore was drawing to a close. It had been a good one, due to the release of the latest volume of a popular fantasy novel series. The shop was working well, but the young woman felt herself giving in to fatigue, a good business day also coming with a few sacrifices. (She, earlier, even had to give up the copy she was saving for herself because the girl who came right after she sold the last copy looked too disappointed for her heart to bear it!)

Now, as she was double-checking the income of her day, Miyuki heard the chime at the shop’s door ringing, her face darted up and she began to warn the newcomer.

“Ah, sorry, we’re clo---“

She interrupted herself the milisecond she recognized the person’s familiar face. That would be one she was still very much in touch with (they texted each other almost daily!), but that she had not seen in... well... At least a few months, busy adult lives oblige.

“NOZOMI!”

Miyuki would have jumped over the counter if she wasn’t at risk of knocking something off or stubbing her shin. She walked, but did so in that particular kind of cheerfulness she had never lost in all the years she and her dear friend had known each other. The second Nozomi was within arm’s reach, Miyuki pulled her into a tight embrace.

“You have no idea how badly I missed you! You didn’t have any trouble finding the shop, did you?”
