shinjiro isn't the type of boyfriend to take you out to a cute cafe, go shopping with you or do whatever normal teenagers do during dates!
if anything, you practically have to drag him out with you if you even want to go on a date with him at all!
he's very reluctant to any romantic stuff that he considers cringe or embarrassing, so if you do actually go on a date with him, it's rarely anything cute!
instead, shinjiro either shows up by your dorm room in the evening, acting all casual as he invites himself to ‘hang out’ with you – which secretly means that he just wants to cuddle!
though most of the time, when he isn't currently in a cuddling mood, he'll complain about sitting in the dorms all day and tell you to go out with him and get some fresh air!
usually, the two of you end up just walking around the city, shinjiro always keeping an arm around you ‘in case some creeps try talking to you’ – which is his excuse to be close to you!

he always spoils you and buys you anything you want, no matter how unhealthy it is. but not without rolling his eyes and telling you that for dinner tomorrow night, he insists on cooking you something fresh and healthy!
