I love how they adapted Shinjiro’s depression to the Academy’s AU, but the man is extremely pitiful 😭
Like dude you just met the kids and you’re already complaining about your life
Butt naahhh the real comedy in this panel was the Kamaboko squad 😭 Inosuke and Zeintsu are fed up with Tanjiro’s kindness
And here where the comic stabbed my heart. Shinjiro loves his family and his kids so freaking much and he misses the old times when they used to practice swordsmanship
And I couldn’t include this, but shinjiro states here that he feels terrible for degrading his kids
But this old man is funny af😭 the pat here carries unmeasurable weight of comedy
They look freaking cool tho
And here we know why Rengoku’s dojo is out of applicants💀

I always think of kimetsu gauken as reflections for what-could-be-canon-if-so . And in this panel, if Shinjiro once told Kyojuro how proud he is, the latter could be the happiest man in the world. In this scene it came out if blue, but Kyojuro was always longing to hear his father’s approval
TL,DR : Basically the Kamaboko squad helping Shinjiro to attract students to his dojo
