I took pictures of nighttime cherry blossoms and shinobue flute（Instagram） again this year. I also had the opportunity to photograph Kotetsu（Instagram）, a Shiba dog that I was able to meet last year. He looked very nice in his hakama.

Emaré has a lot of Japanese influence in her design, she is half Xian, which is a country inspired by Japan in my story. I’ve decided to give her two Japanese instruments. I originally thought of giving her a Lute or a Ukulele as her instrument, but decided it would be more appropriate to give her a Japanese one. The first instrument is this, a Shinobue flute, which is a Japanese transverse flute or fue that has a high-pitched sound. You can hear how it sounds here. I find this fits her character very well.
