I'm so glad I didn't continue hunting for mudkip in Violet. An outbreak never spawned in that game for me. And trying to hunt it without an outbreak was mind numbing.
Anyways, this is my Shalpha Swampert Jeannie that I caught in a dream ball.
A simple color change but so striking.
I've been trying to get a Shalpha Roserade in Legends Arceus forever and ZA delivered. But ZA didn't make it easy. I got jumped trying to even catch it with 100 donut energy on the clock. And I had to reset 10 times.

While slaying some pesky Gastly, one decided to just… [i]solidify[/i] their body into goopy, viscous poison. Yeah, apparently those pesky ghosts can do that, presumably to trap foes if they go down (and remember to solidify). Thankfully it cannot corrode metals, so his sword is safe. It's just a nightmare to remove!
