And now that I have an emulator to record my shiny Nuzlockes on, (since I don't have a capture card for my ds), I can actually do these nuzlockes and finish them lmao. Dislike it a bit to shiny hunt on an emulator, but eh hunt is hunt.

Although I have basically just started the run, it is quite ironic that is again cyndaquil, and the second or third shiny cyndaquil I've gotten in SoulSilvers soft resets haha It is going to take a looong time. Eh but my regular nuzlockes are all far quicker in between.

Charly is summoned to Pokemon Mystery Dungeon before their Journey through SoulSilver, giving them upon return the ability to understand Pokémon. However upon return their memories get locked away, sealing their current and previous life (from our world) away.

It is a reason why Charly would name their new Cyndaquil Aiden, since they don't remember their Partner Aiden.

Yet they still have their scarf that they got to keep even when going back to being human.

They still have a couple things from having been a Mareep which will both be good and bad for their life hehehe

Shinylocke White Nuzlocke (ARed tho)

I’ve got a non cheat, renegade platinum shinylocke im working on also but no gijinkas for it yet (also a sumo shinylocke)

So. These ones are my babies.

As the photo says, I’m doing a Moon Emerald Randomized Shinylocke (and yes I know it’s a lot of words) and it’s my first ever Locke so I shall post my journey with slightly crappy art lol

If you absolutely do not want to hear about this just block the tag #clouds nuzlocke 😅

Following these basic rules:

Catch every first shiny encounter on a route

Name it to get emotionally attached

If it faints, it dies

I get to catch everything with a master ball because I soft locked myself on my previous runs and then died. It sucked.

Journey so far:

For a starter I had to choose between Squirtle, Slaking or Hitmontop. Anyway I chose Squirtle, named it Koopa, and beat up the rockruff. Yadda yadda fight Brendan and his slaking, capture Bowser the Primeape, LavaCake the Ludicolo, and Stringbean the Huntail and disappear to Petalburg city. Do that whole help Wally catch a ralts, appease my father thing and then I can go to the forest. Immediately I get a Hypno which I named Mystic and in the forest i discover Mewtwo.

And not even 10 minutes later I found a shiny and named it Worm. I found a second one barely 5 minutes later btw

Then nearly got my butt kicked by the team aqua grunt who had a friggin Lunala.

After nearly dying I get to head to Rustboro city for the most BS battle I’ve ever had the experience other than Whitney and Mel from Unbound.

Roxanne had an Electrode, Shiny Swalot, Shiny Wigglytuff, and Entei. Electrode poisoned half of my team and kept using double team and rain dance so I spent a solid 10 minutes just fighting that thing. Afterwards I just used Mystic to spam hypnosis and confusion because I’m a coward lol. Did that for most of them including Entei which actually just struggled itself to death.

Anyway that fight made me realize I have zero idea what is in store for me during this nuzlocke 🫡 so this is definitely going to be interesting and I hope someone enjoys my rambles haha

For the second to last hunt for my Ultra Moon Shinylocke i decided to hunt 4 ultra space pokemon

Alpha Sapphire Shinylocke

While my Shiny Hunts are slowly progressing in the various games I'm playing, I decided "Why not just do a full-blown Shinylocke for one of your numerous playthroughs?" and so I did. I decided to do one for Alpha Sapphire since I have access to the DexNav AND Chain Fishing to make things easier, though there will be areas where I'll still struggle (like getting my starter). Since Video Capture is out of the question for my 3DS (for now), I'll keep you all up to date using screenshots and logs.

Rules:

Only catch the first Shiny pokemon you encounter in each area.

Nickname all your Shinies.

If a pokemon faints, it's classified as dead and can't be used in the run.
