Who cried when they brought their child home for the first time: Jesse, Rachel rolls her eyes at him with a fond smile, but once their daughters are tucked up in their crib, she sheds a tear as well, because a part of her still can’t believe that this is their family, their reality.

Who would wake up in the middle of the night to check on the kid(s): Rachel, Jesse gives up trying to get her to come back to bed after the 3rd or 4th night, because she doesn’t listen to him, and he still really wants to get some sleep.

Who changes the kid(s) diapers: Jesse actually tries to do this, he’s very keen, but he never gets it quite right. So Rachel intervenes and corrects his mistakes, mostly she’s just pleased that he tries.

Who makes the bottles: Jesse, and he’s so proud that he can do them on his own that he tends to go a little overboard.

Who stays up late at night to rock the kid(s) to sleep and sing them lullabys: Rachel mostly, but Jesse often comes and joins them, because twin babies are difficult to handle at the best of times, and he doesn’t want to miss out on valuable bonding time.

Who is guilty of spoiling the kid(s): They both are, with the lifestyle they’re living now, they can afford to be a little more frivolous with their money and neither wants their children to go without. 

Who would give the kid(s) cookies in the middle of the night: As an absolute last resort it would be Jesse, since it would be the only way the girls will stop crying. It’s not something he does very often though.

Who always takes the kid(s) side: Jesse, the twins have him wrapped around their little finger and he knows it, but he can’t help giving into them with infuriates Rachel when she wants them to put up a united front.

Who would wake up early to make breakfast for the kid(s) before school: They actually have a house keeper that helps with the majority of the cooking, but Jesse is usually helping out as best he can in the kitchen, he’s not as bad as he used to be. 

Who gets the kid(s) ready for school in the morning: Rachel, she always makes sure that they’re looking their best, even though she’s biased and thinks they always look perfect.

Who takes the kid(s) to school: Depending on schedules, they both do. Its rare that neither of them are around to do the school run.

Who goes to parent teacher conferences: They both do, it’s something that they’ll always put first, no matter what is going on with their own schedules.

Who will be the first to suggest to have ‘the talk’ with the kid(s): Jesse, and it’s mostly out of fear, when one of the twins is asked out for ice cream innocently by one of the boys in their class, and he panics and immediately decides that they need to have the talk.

Who would choose their child(s) prom outfit: It’s mostly a joint effort, as is everything else in their life, but their girls are stubborn and no exactly what it is they want. Rachel and Jesse usually relent and give it to them.

Who would cry when the kid(s) go off to college: Again, it’s something they both do, because the house is so quiet, and suddenly the house feels tend times bigger. Where did all the years go?

Puck cries a little too, because this is the start of a whole new life for him and Liam, and it’s a little overwhelming for everyone.
