Base yarn: Knit Picks Paragon | 50% Fine Merino Wool, 25% Baby Alpaca, 25% Mulberry Silk | 246 Yards/100g | Sport Weight
The product of a spur of the moment inspiration by a request from the Tiger & Bunny Discord that my friend is part of, this is a beautiful blend of Merino, Baby Alpaca, and Mulberry Silk. It has beautiful ply definition and a tiny bit of shine that makes it look very reminiscent of the hard and shiny armor that Barnaby and Kotetsu wear while fighting off villains in Sternbild!

The second announcement is that there is a big shop update today with 7 FAN-tastic new listings!
Undersea Prophecy
A 100% silk yarn inspired by @wendylianmartin's Webtoon Castle Swimmer! I LOVE this comic and the colors in it so much that I had to make a Shipyarn for Kappa x Siren!
Victuuri Duetto Exhibition
This is a remake of my popular gradient yarn inspired by Yuri on Ice! Now with richer colors on a luxurious cashmere, merino, and nylon base.
Shadows and Sequins
There are TWO versions of a yarn inspired by Malec from the Shadowhunters books by @Cassandra Clare! Since you can’t have an ode to Magnus without glitter, it has a subtle sparkle to it!
Oopsy Dyesies
These are skeins that are listed at a discounted price because they are either one-off colors that can’t be reproduced, skeins of unknown size, or skeins that didn’t quite live up to my normal standards.
OverOops
These are two separate skeins that were dyed using the same methods, but one was re-wound after dyeing. This yarn is bright and colorful and would be great for a felting project!
Tainted Love
This skein is a dusky rose colored yarn that won't make you want to run away! The dusky pink has subtle variegated tones of blue giving it a completely unique look!
And that's everything! Check out all the details for each yarn on Etsy, or check out shipyarn.com and sign up for my mailing list so that you don't miss anything!

Colorway: Kosmic Floof
Base yarn: knit picks super silk | 52% super wash wool/ 48% mulberry silk | 90 yards
A beautiful and shimmery wool and merino silk blend dyed in shades of blue and grey. I thought the shine of this yarn was a really good reflection of the way Kosmo the Space Wolf from Voltron glows when he is about to teleport!
I REALLY love how this one came out, and I just want to use this base yarn for everything now! It's so shiny and fluffy and lovely to work with!!

Super soft and fluffy Merino dyed shades of pink and red. I saw @aoiaoimm‘s fanart of Oikawa from Haikyuu, and couldn’t get over how pretty the colors were! I just HAD to dye it! The process of dyeing it up threw me for a few loops, but it ended up so pretty!

I’ve had the idea for this yarn for so long that I actually started mixing the colors back in August, so this yarn was a long time coming! The result is 4 skeins of variegated speckle-dyed yarn to match the sketchy feeling of the voltron cut scene.
I’m pretty happy with how this yarn came out and I think Pico was too! He was such a good model for me :)

DO I BELIEVE THE DIGITAL PH METER OR THE STUPID COLOR STRIPS?!?!
Cause if im to believe the digital meter, holy hell i have been dyeing in waaaayyyy too acidic of a solution since its supposed to be pH 4.
I can't believe at one point I thought I would never need the third ring...
I'm at 95 test dyes that have recorded and reproducable colors, and I just realized that I need to add my other ring to fit everything in! I really can't believe how much testing I have done, and am still needing to test stuff!
17The only skeins I have left to dye are earmarked for 3 specific projects that I haven't figured out at least one color for. ive been itching to dye something, and I have a few projects that I have the dyes figured out for, but don't have the yarn for them! So I decided I needed to test out the last colors for the projects I DO have the yarn for.
I ended up mixing up more colors than I initially expected I would cause I wanted to test a few different shades of each planned color.
Putting the yarn in the dye pot is one of my favorite moments! It's the first moment where you get an idea if your experiments might end up being close to the color you imagined, and the start of the excitement of transforming plain white yarn into something more!
About 30 mins later and I'm starting to get an idea of which colors might actually work best. I'm excited to see if they end up right, or if I need to adjust my formulas! I'm a little skeptical that the olive-ey green is going to end up how I hoped, so I'm expecting to have to adjust that one and do another test.
