When taking care of yourself is impossible
So they did cancel my appointment without telling me.
I then rescheduled it for today. Clearly telling the girl on the phone when asked that I was coming in because I needed refills and I had a sinus infection. I got there today. "You can't come in, you're sick". Mind you, I'm already IN the office. So they said, " You can do a Zoom appointment". I don't want to do this but I have no other choice as I have no fucking pills left. So I go home and call back like they said to do. They put me on hold for 20 minutes while they say they are setting up the zoom with the doctor. Cut to 20 minutes later. The office manager can't set it up and I can't have an appointment. They tell me to call this other doctor because MY doctor can't refill my prescription because he hasn't seen me but he can't see me because me I'm sick? I call the other doctor and leave a message but I know they aren't going to refill it and because it's a weekend I am totally fucked. If I haven't gotten anything by Monday, I am going to go sit in his office and they are going to treat me or have me removed or make me go to the emergency room. I'm going to find his insurance carrier too. He has to treat sick patients that are in his office. I know that for a fact. Even if it is palliative, until an ambulance arrives. Because it has come up. If there is a sick patient, he has a duty of care not to let them leave without treatment. If I end up in the ER at any point and I never received treatment, I can sue him for pain and suffering. And I still have no idea where the doctor I was actually seeing went. If I can find her I want her back. He is being an asshole or his new office staff is anyway. I understand not wanting people that could possibly be sick with Covid in the office. But tell me that before I came in, especially since I made a point of telling them I was sick. Or make other arrangements. And the pills that I need refilled can't be stopped suddenly. I know they can make an exception for that. If they don't fill it and I don't get it, I will eventually end up in the ER for lacking it. That is negligent. The other doctor's office didn't even call me back. Let alone call in medicine. I am not happy about this. I'm about to look up the doctor my dad had back in the day. We called him Dr. Fill-in-the-Blank. For a reason.
-got tested a long time ago -got low thyroid levels -doctors didn't do anything -after a year I researched hypothyroid and i meet every symptom -my throat is currently very sore to touch even just barely. Should I be worried.
My ear hurts
After multiple bad experiences with misdiagnosis, it is important to me that my doctors take me seriously.
I don't think this is too much to ask for. If I wanted someone to disregard my perspective and tell me to harden up, I would talk to my grandmother. She gives that advice for free.
What the fuck kind of diagnosis it this?! Like, great, you confirmed that I have gallstones and you're advice is to change my diet??
What the hell do you think I've been doing?! I already changed my diet and I'm still in pain!!
This is bullshit
fuck this I'm going to bed wake me up when it's Christmas
