Dear AO3 Trolls, Do you have nothing better to do than go around shitting on other people's hobbies? I write because I love it. I post because someone else might like the stories I tell.

Being told that I am not a "real shipper" (what does that even mean???), that I have something "psychologically wrong with me" (I mean, yeah, but this little story ain't even scratching the surface of all that), and that I don't know canon because I changed the timeline (even though that was mentioned IN MY AUTHOR'S NOTES THAT I WAS PLAYING WITH TIMELINES) is just a lot for a random Thursday. It is fucking FANFICTION. In and of itself, it deviates from canon. Constructive criticism is one thing. Telling me that my character was an "obvious self-insert" to live out my sick fantasies was another (especially since the character attacked was older than where her story left off, and oh wait, again, FANFICTION). Read the tags, don't torture yourself by reading THREE CHAPTERS of my story, and kindly, go fuck yourself. I love readers. I love the comment section. Do not be a troll who ruins it.

I know I should probably disable guest comments, but I have a couple of regulars that comment as guests and I’d feel bad alienating them because of dumbasses (bot or living) like this. 😩

the story is less than 3000 words, has only 3 characters, and ~65% of it is in Bard’s POV.

How much more fucking Bard do you want? And if you don’t like Sebastian, why are you reading a poly sebardagni story?

like no, i didn’t write this story for you, I wrote it for me. I just happened to share it with you. If you cant appreciate that then maybe don’t comment ?

also SEBASTIAN IS THE GLUE BINDING BARD AND AGNI TOGETHER FFS like that is the entire point of the story.

My first and only reaction to all shitty comments on AO3 is righteous fury at the thought that anyone believes themselves important enough to criticize strangers on the internet and be for some reason listened to. That sort of arrogance I believe can only be beaten out of a child, either by reality or my fists.

So someone left a comment on my AO3

Describing the winteriron relationship in “Looking at You” as twilight fan fiction/ fifty shades of grey fucked up and then bookmarked the fic as “good if you are into coercion and dubious consent”

But the BEST part is that they started the comment by telling me that they hadn’t read all of it, that they had skipped several parts because they hate Bucky??

And then told me that my “happily ever after” was terribly sad, and like putting wallpaper over gangrenous broken bones.

And then a smiley face, like I’m supposed to be impressed/pleased at their in-depth analysis of my fic that they CLEARLY didn’t read and admitted to skipping through??

Like, don’t ADMIT you didn’t read the whole fic, and then twist every scene in the book into something dub con because you hate one of the main characters??

Honestly, and I mean this from the bottom of my heart— what in the everloving actual fuckery??
