Ah, what an awkward question... There was a reason he avoided his classmates whenever he could - he could sense the lack of friendliness from Kaminari immediately, and he's just left wishing he'd stayed in his room. Of course he'd catch him off guard with a tense conversation like this one of the few times he left today...

Not that he can blame the other for his cold attitude towards him. After all, even if he'd been "saved", "reformed", whatever label they wanted to put on him... He was still a former villain. He couldn't expect his classmates to feel the same about him after his unwilling return - part of the reason he was so insistent on just keeping to himself. He didn't belong with the others. He should just be left alone...

And yet here he is, having to answer to Kaminari out of the blue.

"Um... Well, I've never met your mom, so... I can't really speak to whether she's a good person or not. If you say she is, then I'll believe you. It's not my place to decide that." He shrugs a little, unsure of how to answer a question like that about someone he didn't know outside of his research on pro heroes. "I don't want to hurt anyone, so I don't see why it'd be any different in her case..."

"If you're asking what I think of pro heroes in general... I guess I don't know anymore." He keeps it vague, casting his gaze aside as he remembers the counseling sessions he'd been going to - he could hardly describe how he felt after hours of talking to a professional, so how could he sum it up right here for a classmate? His thoughts have felt so mixed up since he came back... He's not sure which side is right anymore, honestly - but he's not about to admit that to him.

"I've had a lot of good experiences with heroes, but I've had a lot of bad experiences too. That's all I can really say about that. Whether or not they're a good person... I don't think that's determined by something as simple as hero or villain status."

though single player games aren't much of katsuki's style, he still plays alongside denki on separate consoles. usually, the two of them play in complete silence, but this time ...

his eyes dart to the other blond's screen at the mention of item duplication, staring intently ╱ how the fuck can denki kill something too fast ? how did he manage to duplicate the item ? what kinda stupid strategic advantage is this ? he hovers over denki and damn near takes the controller out of his hands, incredulous look on his face before he turns away.

someone's screwed up on pain meds. considering the amount of damage he did to his own body, it's not surprising to see that they needed him on some hefty medication ... but that means he sometimes says some weird shit. and the young bakugou is categorising this under one of those times.

The beach crashes against milky white sands just outside Basil's door. Sunlight descends, all but fragmented by the hotel's stained glass windows, cracked open just enough to let in a gentle breeze.

He's chaperoning a handful of students during summer break. They're still patrolling the surrounding neighborhoods to rack up required hours, but for the most part, they've been having a blast—playing volleyball and swimming until they smell like sea salt.

Basil returns to his room, sighing with delight at the wind. He has gathered a bundle of firewood and is seconds away from asking the boys who would like to toast marshmallows. It seems everyone else has left, except for Denki Kaminari.

He grabs the blanket hanging off the couch and pulls it over Denki's sleeping frame. There's a weather report warning of high winds tonight, so it'll be a little chilly.

It's sweet seeing him at peace. Although Basil is certain that children aren't for him, since he can barely take care of himself, he imagines it to be something like this.

it was the hair that really did it for her - not the name. the yellow locks with black stripes was similar to denki's hair - one of the guys in deku's class. she remembers him always being nice so she was sure that his mom was, too.
