Okay, no, I needed to make this a proper shitpost to push my shojispin agenda.

I keep seeing screenshots from the lov summer event on UI and I have a hero×villain idea spawning from it.

I don't know how exactly they explain how the villains got a whole ass luxury beach house (def ReDestro's money again) but consider: Dabi approaches the group out of nowhere saying "I know you've all been whining about a vacation so I got you one. Follow me and shut up." and just?? Takes them to this expensive ass seaside mansion??? If anyone questions how he got this place or if they should be worried about the cops showing up, he changes the subject, but he's fully confident no one will know they're here. The only thing he shuts down faster are accusations that he cares about them.

The reason he's so confident is because this is Enji's old beach house. The family didn't take many vacations after Shoto was born and they stopped entirely once Touya died so Dabi knows for sure no one is going to notice or bother them.

Except...what he didn't account for...was Enji giving Shoto the keys to let him treat his friends over summer break...

Seriously, why do other hero/villain fuckers never get on this? They're underrated enough as is! Spinner is happy and on probation and married and getting sweet book royalties while his hubby spoils him rotten! The manga can't contradict me, which means I'm right!!

YOOOO YOU SEE MY VISION ANON!!

-First of all, Spinner absolutely clings to Shoji for warmth. Mezo's big bulky body runs really warm while Shuichi absolutely sucks at maintaining bodyheat (cold blooded) and he takes every oppertunity to use his boyfriend as a personal heater. If Shoji sits down there's a high chance he'll get comendeered and unable to get back up without managing a lap full of lizard.

-In general, I think they'd be very physically affectionate, an unspoken love shown for their physical mutations that neither of them had in the past. They bump snouts, cuddle, Mezo carries Shuichi bridal style very often (Shuichi tried one time to return the favor but holy fuck all that muscle makes Mezo dense)

-Mezo occasionally deals out cutesy pet names and Shuichi gets SO flustered.

-They are a talks a lot/listens couple. Spinner yaps so much about video game lore but Shoji is genuinely engrossed by it. He could actually maintain a conversation with someone about niche rpgs and fantasy pvp games and he's never played a single one.

-Parallel to Shoji's scars around his lips and head, Spinner has chemical burn scars on his forearms from being sprayed with pesticide.

-Personal hc they were both orphaned at young ages, Mezo's parents either chased out or forced to abandon their mutant child while Shuichi's died to violent heteromorph hate crimes, either collateral in a bigger attack or having an unfortunate run-in with a CRC member. Because of this they're both pretty self sufficient on very little. They're good at making things last until their breaking point, even if they're making enough money on hero revenue and book residuals that they don't need to be particularly stingy. They're living well but the washing machine rattles several inches from the wall with every load, their comforters have been stained and haphazardly patched over and over, and Spinner would rather learn how to rewire his beat up old gamecube than buy a new console, despite the fact that they absolutely have the money for all of it.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head but I would ADORE to hear your thoughts too anon. :3c
