Today is @justacard indie week. Today's theme is 'you' . I'm not showing my face today, due to lack of sleep😝, so here is what I do. Hand embroidery, mostly on jewellery. I love working small, I hate repeating work so most things are one of a kind. I have also written a book on thread painting, my favourite type of embroidery. Also I work and teach part time at the Royal School of Needlework. Just a card is about supporting independent artists and encouraging people to shop small in a corporate world. I'm sending off lots of hallmarking first thing next week so if you are after a gold item and want a quicker turn around order now please :) I'll probably only be doing 1 or 2 more hallmark batches before Maternity leave so please also bear that in mind! We're past the last post date before the holidays now :( I will continue to ship until Tuesday but the odds of the post arriving in time is low! Last call for gold orders before the holidays! ⁠ ⁠ But also please if you know what you want and you have the money ready please order asap! With the postal strikes today, tomorrow and throughout December there are going to be a lot of delays and unfortunately myself and most of my jeweller friends have been unable to find a suitable courier to use instead; most wont take jewellery and those that do have severely let down several of us already. So its a bit of a mess and most of us are choosing to stay with royal mail but there will be delays so please please order as soon as you can. ⁠ ⁠ And while I hope you order from me please please wherever you do your holiday shopping try to shop small.
