Ninjago Pride Week Day 1 (24/6/2019) - Questioning
For @evelinaonline Pride Week!
A/N: I wasn’t sure how to go about questioning but I guess the closest I could get is confusion and denial.
Pairing/Ship: ShortMetal ( @thirdreich12 I think you’ll like this.)
He was aggressively confused!
He didn’t know how to feel about this!
In fact, he’s not supposed to feel anything at all, due to being an android. A Nindroid, as a matter of fact. He was the leader of an entire army, the commander of these droids, the trusted right hand of Overlord before Pythor came along. He was supposed to be flawless, perfect like his predecessor, the Master of Ice.
And somehow, something, whatever it was, snuck into his systems and now, he had... feelings for one of his own soldiers. But it’s not just any soldier no!
That blasted short stack of metal with tiny little legs and a loud dial up speech box. There was nothing good about him so what was it that even made him catch his attention? Was it how ferociously he fought and how he honed his skills past his limit? How he was bold to spit back at the General and defy an order when it meant danger for him and the troops? How the said General hated it when someone else besides him taunted Min-droid for his height?
Cryptor growled at these thoughts. None of these were good, but yet his systems sped and heat up at the memories of every moment with Min-droid. Especially that one time in training when he managed to pin the shorter down but then he was so bold to just catch him off guard with a kick to the side and, with all his strength, he pushed him, making them roll over.
Min-droid was in his lap and he beeped in a happy tone of victory before setting his hands down on his chest armor. Cryptor just smirked up at him before hearing the other Nindroids whispering and beeping in dials around them. Cryptor was certain that they looked indecent, had there been no context of the situation. He was snapped back into reality and shoved the shorter one off of him, never speaking to him unless it was orders.
What did Min-droid have that the others don’t? Was it that little jog he called cute once? The mixture of fighting styles he had mastered better than the others so flawlessly? The way that he was actually much more helpful to him than the others were, how he gripped onto him for dear life like no other... those deep sensitive eyes.. General huffed and shook his head, clearing his mind out.
He crossed his arms, seeing Min-droid pass by. Somehow it brought a smile to his face, seeing he was alright. He growled again and looked away from the shorter android.
He didn’t want to care for him.
He shouldn’t care for that blasted little thing!
He’s basically a scout compared to everyone else while Cryptor was the General. They were on opposite ends of the spectrum, figuratively and literally.
Yet somehow his systems whirred in a way that made him ultimately question himself. Maybe something was wrong with him. He’d have to look into it later.
