Damn, this beer is really bordering on a 9 right now but what I will say right off the bat is this: This very well might be one of the best brown ales I’ve ever had, period. Now as far as the beer’s name, I’m not too sure about this one. Outside of the craft beer scene, most people are pretty fucking awful which is probably why the world is in the miserable state that it’s in right now. Most humans lack the 3 traits listed on the bottle which are passion, humility, and wisdom and would rather film you slowly dying in the street on their iPhones so they can post it up on Youtube or Worldstar and get a million views. Now as I’ve said before, good humans do exist and pretty much they just hang out in the craft community because since I started this blog I’ve met some pretty amazing bloggers, brewers, and overall homosapiens brought together by the love of beer and Short’s is right up there on that list of awesome individuals. An interesting mix of smoked malt and floral hops start things off with a mix of smoky, bitter, and sweet before some serious chocolate flavors mix in with a syrup like goodness with even more of that light smoked peat moss flavor before ending with a malty bite that is downright delicious. If you are one of those people who would rather shit on someone else instead of lending a helping hand, go fuck yourself and don’t even come near this beer because this deserves way better than you scummers. If you are big on the browns or just enjoy a stupendous brew, pick this up and enjoy it because I can almost guarantee that you will. Regardless of your current drinking level this beer will definitely appeal to your taste buds but just keep in mind that few brown ales are shown this much love!
