A death row inmate incarcerated at a Tokyo detention center has escaped, and police are now tracing his whereabouts. The escaped is death row inmate Kaburagi Keiichi.

Synopsis: Kaburagi Keiichi is arrested as a suspect in a murder case and sentenced to death. Mini-review:
I'm always up for a new Michihito Fujii film, and this one has a pretty stacked cast, so I knew I had to watch it. I can't say it's my favorite work of his, but it was still enjoyable. While I wish it had delved deeper into the social issues it tries to portray, the main character is interesting enough, mostly thanks to Ryusei Yokohama's strong performance. As for the rest of the characters, they probably would've been better off in a miniseries or something like that, even if the cast tries its best. Faceless won't be making my favorite movies list, but it's still a solidly made and entertaining crime thriller.
