Why is no one talking about this its so good.
Also the most underrated show I have come across recently is Later I Laughed and istg if anyone has seen it lmk cause then i know wed be friends. Also the second exams are over im making a list for my top like in the feels shows.
Exam season is woopin me rn so or but i've gotten really hooked on Taiwanese bl dramas so here is a list of my faves so far.
See Your Love: This one is like the classic good recommendation of Taiwanese bls. Like I watched this ages ago and recently rewatched it and holy hell it works. Theres a subtlety and depth to its characters and their interactions that made me love it. A man hires MC because he is hard of hearing.
First Note of Love:
Slightly questionable age difference but like its okay. MC is hired by a once famous musician who hasn't preformed since the death of his brother. Through their musical partnership they grow a bond. Im bad at paraphrasing but trust me on this one. The emotional connection between the characters in this one is good.
The On1y One:Im gonna force others to watch it cause i cant suffer alone. This show uses a lot of cliche tropes that Im not gonna reveal cause i dont wanna put anyone off from watching it because it does these cliches well. Like the acting was so good, the chemistry was top tier, and I truly fell in love and became invested in their story.
Eternal Butler: I am putting this on here not necessarily because the content of the show was deeply memorable but rather the moral questioning I faced post watching this. One line summary: rich boy whose father wants to control him using an robot. If anyone has any opinions on the moral implications of love between human and love feeling robot please do enlighten me.
My Tooth Your love: Again the premise of the show alone sounds weird: a man afraid of the dentist visits a hot dentist. However, I fell in love with this show because of its amazing and what I considered to be accurate representation of anxiety and fear both personal and between the characters.
Impression of Youth: It deeply gives Call Me By Your Name Vibes. Its a perfect summer getaway movie with a hint of promiscuity and a questionable age gap. Yet the story captures the atmosphere of rural seaside Taiwan beautifully, as well as the love that sprouts there among questioning of success, talent and creativity. The MC, struggling with creativity, goes to teach art to high schoolers for a month and meets a talented prodigy.
We Best Love: I love it, you love it, what more can I say. This shit is my bread and butter. The actors are impecable.
Stay By My Side: This one has the vibes of a 2017 drama. Just vibes of cinamatography and character personalities. However I did like the premise and theres a thing that happens that is hilarious so I included it. MC accidentally begins to see ghosts but realises that if he touches his roommate, who he loathes, they go away. His roommate begins to misinterpret the consequential increase in affections.

Yumis cells binge
I just watched all three seasons of Yumis cells.
I think I liked the show so much because I was convinced why the characters liked eachother. In other shows I feel like the characters like eachother bc its a romance. For this show, beacuse of its cells concept, was able to dive deeper into this.
Tbh I have been avoiding watching this show for whatever reason but I am so glad I gave it the chance it deserved.
Maybe it hit the spot because recently I have been wondering why do ppl like eachother and why should I be convinced that theyll stay together? Going into the show I didnt expect it to give me an answer but I think I definetly got closet to the asnwer I was searching for. It also allowed me to want the romance to work out because I liked the MC.
I really really enjoyed its subtlity yet expresiveness if that makes sense. Thats the best I think I can put it.
I really reccomend this for anyone looking for a longer watch, good identy portrayal, and a romance that makes sense.
P.s. I gn wrote this cause i dont think i could fall asleep without expressing all of this. Also I think I loved soon ruk as much as I do because I see myself in him and its always nice to see someone like youself be seen portrayed as desirable

Salon de Nabi: all the characters a flawed. I loke them all nonetheless. Its humanism.
Reset: Intimacy is shared through trauma

Its 1970s China, and to get into university your only option is to get a recommendation. The only way to convince your superior to be recommended is to take care of a person who got hurt in the midst of saving someone during a bad storm. You arrive and he is still in a coma, but you recognize him.
