I feel like shed ride a cruiser, like a Yamaha v-star or a Suzuki boulevard, or maybe a bagger, mainly because of her height
I know nothing ab cars or motorcycles but I completely agree with this hc!! So I drew her with a Suzuki boulevard :3
I have a hc that bc of her weird relationship with Johnny, she’s stuck with some habits and preferences of Kitty, so she has a liking for bad boys with motorcycles. But since she couldn’t find a leather wearing baddie with a bike (before she found Jason), she became one herself >:) (also mentioned here lmao)
He and Dani were hidden in a corner of the room, watching the other partygoers laugh and dance. The two of them leaned against each other, quiet and almost sulking. Neither of them had wanted to go, but their older brother, Dante, had made a fuss and forced them to escort Jazz, who had been determined to come take a look at the Wayne Manor.
“The food is quite nice,” Dani said absentmindedly, handing over a chocolate biscuit that she had put inside of her dress pocket. She had taken off her gloves in order to retrieve her snacks.
Danny frowned at her. “Dan will throttle you if you get ants in the house and Jazz will finish you off once she finds out.”
Dani childishly stuck out her tongue at him and he snorted before shoving the biscuit into his mouth. Both munched away, bored due to the fact that Danny’s friend, Sam, had been forced off to go to her summer house in the country just last night. Neither of them wanted to dance in their old dresses and suits, and so they were forced to wait until the event ended and Jazz followed them out.
“Excuse me,” a quiet voice said. “Mind giving some space for two more?”
Both Danny and Dani startled, turning around with wide eyes. A young man and a young woman, both looking surprisingly similar with dark hair and dark eyes in fine clothing, smiled at them sheepishly.
The young man reached out a hand in introduction. “It’s Timothy. Nice to meet you. And this is my sister, Cassandra.”
The young woman gave a polite curtsy in greeting. Fumbling, Dani hurried to curtsy back and Danny nervously reached back to shake his hand. “Danny! And this is Danielle, wonderful to meet you two as well.”
Timothy chuckled. “It’s alright, please relax. This party is quite boring, isn’t it?”
Dani immediately nodded and blurted out, “It is! It would be better if the music were more exciting!”
Danny was about to speak up when Timothy laughed again and said, “I agree! I visited France last spring and we used to have much better galas there! The music was absolutely fantastic.”
“France! Please tell me about it!” Dani said excitedly. “I love hearing about travel abroad!”
Timothy and Dani were quickly drawn into a conversation about travel while Danny pursed his lips. But Cassandra then sidled up to him and said softly, “You don’t recognize us, do you?”
Danny blinked. “No? I apologize if I should’ve. My family and I…” he cut himself off awkwardly. After all, how was one supposed to politely talk about their failing finances and noble status?
She just shook her head silently and smiled at him sweetly. Danny blushed and looked away as he said, “Your eyes are quite beautiful.”
“Oh?” She said. “Not too dark and creepy?”
Danny turned back to her with a frown. “Who would say that? Your eyes are like the night sky. They’re beautiful.”
She brightened even more and the shine in her eyes looked like stars. She gave him a gloved hand politely and asked, “Will you lead me in a dance?”
Danny perked up. “May I? Please!”
Cassandra giggled and with a slight pull, she led him onto the dance floor.
Jason was practicing piano when Tim and Cass walked in. Cass ignored them all to start dancing amidst Jason’s music, and he complied by working a little harder to get the notes right. Tim, meanwhile, walked up to him and sat down on the bench alongside him, watching Cass dance.
When the song was over, Cass gave a bow and both Tim and Jason clapped enthusiastically.
Jason finally asked, “What do you two want? More mischief? Money? My soul?”
“Don’t be cheeky, little brother,” Cass scolded lightly. “How was your evening?”
Tim snorted. “Were you holed up in the library again? Father said that after the first day, you must engage with the guests.”
Jason rolled his eyes. “I’ll have you know that I met someone in the library. A young woman from a smaller noble family. From the Fentons.”
Both Cass and Tim paused. Tim said slowly, “Us too. We met Danny and Danielle Fenton.”
Jason frowned. “Danny? Isn’t there also Dante in their family, whose nickname is Dan?”
Tim laughed. “What unoriginal names! Did they give up after the eldest daughter?”
Cass punched him on the shoulder and he yelped, giving her a helpless glare. Jason snorted and then coughed to hide his laughter. Tim pouted.
The doors were burst open and Dick walked in. He was holding a sleepy looking Damian in his arms as he then said, “Alright, you three! It’s time for bed! Also, Father is requesting all of us in his study.”
“You’ve only just arrived back to the city and you’re already bossing us around,” Jason muttered as they all stood up and went to him. Dick pinched his cheek and shook it with a smile.
“You’re lucky that I’m holding Damian. Otherwise, I’d be tussling with you right now.”
“You couldn’t beat me anyways!”
“Are you two really older than me?” Tim complained. “Even Duke is more mature than you two children!”
Cass laughed and they all went to the study, where Bruce was already sitting in wait. Duke was sitting in the armchair, lazily stretching himself out.
Bruce didn’t wait for smalltalk before he asked, “Have any of you found interest in anyone you saw last night?”
The three shared a look but didn’t say anything, just making noncommittal noises.
Bruce sighed. “I hosted this gala in order for all of you to find future partners. If there is anyone you’re interested, anyone at all, I will help you ask for a marriage arrangements. All of you are old enough now to get married.”
“Not me and Damian though, right?” Duke said with a smirk.
Bruce gave him a small smile. “No, you and Damian can stay with me a little longer.”
Cass approached him and gave him a hug. Bruce sighed again and returned the hug as he said, “I just want you to have happy lives. It’s time for you to grow up a little more and leave the nest.”
Jason swallowed. Dick blinked rapidly, his eyes looking shiny while Tim smiled sorrowfully.
“Got it. Thanks, dad.”
Bruce smiled at them again before he then frowned. “So that’s why tonight I want you to all be on your best behavior. Jason, do not spend another night in the library, I will lock you out. Cass, talk to more people. Tim, please actually try to make friends with people instead of just judging them silently. Duke, I’d also like see you reaching out. Dick, keep an eye on your siblings. I want to see you all having conversations the entire night or dancing with other people! Got it?”
“I love Christmas,” Cass sighed in satisfaction as she snacked on more of the peppermint s’mores cookies that Jason had been experimenting with.
Danny eyed her in amusement. “Don’t eat too much. We have several Christmas parties to get to in the next few days.”
Cass gave him a light glare but didn’t say anything as she slowly withdrew her hand with one final cookie.
Danny kissed her on the forehead and said, “There’ll be a lotttt of good food soon. First, we have the potluck at Tucker today. His mom makes a mean roast and I know Sam is bringing her famous spinach dip and tomorrow, we have a small get-together at Wes’ place before we have to go to the dinner party at Jazz’s apartment and both she and Jason are cooking and then the day after that, we’re spending Christmas Day at your dad’s house—”
Danny hummed, pleased. Then he placed several sweaters on her lap. “What ugly sweater should I wear to traumatize Sam’s parents?”
Cass inspected each of them carefully. Then she pointed to one with badly sewn gold, glittery tinsel on top of a neon green sweater with wonky red letters that said ‘don’t bully me I’ll cum’ in more glittery thread. Ugly white snowflakes were pasted everywhere on the sleeves and hems. “This one.”
“Amazing. Just looking at it makes me want to drink bleach,” Danny said with a grin. He didn’t take back the other sweaters, just holding onto the one she chose for him.
Cass was quiet as she watched Danny fuss over his outfit, muttering about what to bring and whether or not his still baking macaroni dish was suitable for the potluck tonight, and fretting over other things.
Although he seemed anxious, every part of his body read as happy and playful, maybe a little anticipatory, but he was relaxed overall.
“Are your Christmases always like this?” Cass asked him softly.
“Nope. I hated Christmas when I was younger because my parents always argued, but I eventually realized that without them… sometimes the vibes are really fun, y’know? But don’t ask Sam about Christmas, she’ll start ranting about overconsumption and capitalism.”
Cass laughed. Danny turned to her and asked, “And you?”
“… before Bruce, I was homeless. So no, I’ve never really celebrated like this before.” Her gaze was faraway as she rubbed the surprisingly soft texture of the ugly Christmas sweater on her lap. “This will be one of my first…. with friends and family too.”
Danny blinked and stared at her for a long time in shock before he hugged her, burying his face into her hair. “We’ll make this one of the best Christmases ever for you. And then next year, it’ll be even better. Matter of fact, let me call up Tucker’s mom right now and I’ll ask her to make some of your favorites—”
Cass laughed and returned the hug, nuzzling into her boyfriend’s neck. She trusted him to make sure that every holiday from now on would only be better and better with him by her side.
