We as a fandom do not talk enough about Cassandra's temper. Seriously, my girl is never not just one pushed button away from a truly legendary crashout. You know when somebody's being an asshole and you get that sensible voice in the back of your mind telling you "you can't just punch them in the face in no matter how badly they deserve it?" I don't think Cass got born with one of those.

Hc that the whole “all the batfam members are ridiculously hot” isn’t a “well they’re comic characters so of course” thing or a “Bruce only adopts pretty kids” thing but a Wayne thing. They were all good-looking before, but joining the Wayne family just makes it pop.
Dick? Always a pretty kid. Always a performer. One of two exceptions to the rule.
Cass? Lived on the street before and did not give a shit about what she looked like. Selina staged an intervention and all of a sudden she’s the most animated show lesbian you’ve ever seen, with a great haircut and comfy but nice clothes.
Jason? Always the cutest kid on the block. When he moved in with Bruce he got a haircut and a curl routine and all of a sudden he stuck out like a little sunbeam wherever he went.
Steph? I have a whole post about this but she transformed from “pretty girl” to “warrior princess”.
Tim? Eye bags are just the look for him ig
Duke? He hit a growth spurt the moment he moved in with Bruce and all the training gave him noticeable muscles. Bruce got him glasses for his sensory headaches and they look way too good on him.
Damian? Arrived fabulous.
It's really hard for Cass to not dodge everything on instinct. She senses something coming at her and combat mode kicks in and she's moving before her conscious mind can even keep up with her. Most of the time she's grateful for it, it's kept her alive too many times to accurately count. You can't exactly afford the nanosecond it takes to second guess such instincts when the bullet with your name on it is flying through the air at this very moment.
Sure does make participating in trust fall exercises awkward though.
New Cass lore is super interesting to me. And not even annoyed that it changes what we used to know because I’m pretty sure post crisis still isn’t entirely her origin.
Who even knows what is and isn't canon anymore? If DC doesn't have to care then neither do I. Just as long as they do something good with it.

Honestly? My dark horse pick is Ruby. Partially because just glancing at her body language would reveal to Cass... shall we just say, many many feelings. It'd probably make Cass instantly feel all kinds of sad for her.
On top of that, if her friendship with Stephanie anything to go by Cassandra's emotional walls are uniquely vulnerable to obnoxiously upbeat perplexingly stubborn goofballs who refuse to be dissuaded by constant meanness and if her friendship with Weiss is anything to go by Ruby is overqualified.
Why is it Koncass artists always sexualize the fuck out of Cass? Like we don't get enough of that from the official artists?
