having thirty years of experience under her belt, dana supposed she should consider herself lucky that she could count the amount of times she'd been attacked on one hand. then again, that number should be zero, but nurses got the shit end of the stick, most days. she didn't expect this to happen. driscoll was a son of a bitch, and a mean one at that, but she didn't know he'd go that far. part of dana thought maybe she should have as she walked back onto the floor, dreading the cacophony of noise that would accompany her bloody arrival. everyone started to flock to her immediately, and dana threw her hands up, repeating over and over that it was okay, that she was fine, that it was just a little blood. she was able to push through most of the crowd, even a hovering robby, before a familiar face popped into her field of vision and began escorting her gently by the arm away from the nurse's station. 'i said i'm fine, winchester. jesus, does anyone fuckin' listen around here?' despite the throbbing in her nose, the metallic taste of her own blood in her mouth, and her hatred for this line of work mounting, she really was fine. 'i just need t'get cleaned up, that's all,' @shotgunscn.
