thinking abt Shoukei once again. she's sooo memorable to me

her character arc is fascinating, I don't think I saw this kind of message anywhere else (that dictator's family that benefits from his atrocities is partially responsible for them - morally, at least). I don't super agree with 12kingdoms' politics a lot of the time (I feel it often goes like "a few good people can change a rotten system from the inside" smh) but I respect that plot a lot
