If you want a new show to watch, I would like to suggest the Tales of Arcadia series! It's three separate shows on Netflix that were supposedly made for kids but also get really dark at times. The first show, Trollhunters, is about a 15 year old boy with anxiety who ends up becoming the chosen one for the trolls that live beneath his town of Arcadia Oaks. The second show, 3Below, picks up near the end of Trollhunters and is about a pair of royal alien siblings (part 1 of 2)

pretending to be humans to escape a coup. The third show, Wizards, comes out in 6 days (I'm really excited for it) and is going to be based on Arthurian legend while also acting as a conclusion for both Trollhunters and 3Below. Also, the three shows are written by Guillermo del Toro (he wrote The Shape of Water), so if human/nonhuman romances are your thing then you're in for a treat because so far there have been 4 of them, and likely at least one more will be canonized in Wizards. (2 of 2) 

I have been meaning to watch Troll Hunters and those series because someone I know has recommended it but you are just giving me MORE reasons to watch it. (I love monsters and teratophilia, most of my OCs are monsters so... I will have to look into this, bless you anon).

I’d recommend the second option better, as there aren’t as many ads as in gogoanime :’D but keep in mind there are pop ups when you hit play in episode. It’s kind of annoying but bearable if you have AdBlock installed in your browser, and Retsuko is worth it uwud

Please check out this show. I finished season 1 its soo good. There are trans actors, trans characters, gay characters and guess what nobody lgbt dies to move the plot along????  FUCKING AMAZING

Is there a second season to aggretsuko that I am missing?? Because I watched the first season of ten episodes on Netflix and yet I’m seeing posts with content i never watched 😭

You probably haven’t watched the mini episodes :’D There are 100, 1 min each, you can watch them all in 1 hour and 40 min if you feel like marathoning XD

Also, I’ll point out that the mini episodes came before the Netflix show and several things were changed for the latter. The Netflix show is a new universe altogether, but with some hints to events of the mini episodes. I explain a little further on that here, if you wanna take a look:

Is there a difference between the Netflix version and the regular one?

There sure is! The short episodes feature like several days, or rather, a moment of a day in Retsuko’s life that drove her to sing death metal in anger, while the Netflix show actually follows a (small) story line. 

In the Netflix show there are some references to the mini episodes (like Retsuko pouring Ton a glass of beer in the mini episodes, and then mentioning it later in the Netflix show), but A LOT of things have changed, specially how she met or became friends with certain characters. It’s mostly a new universe altogether.

And her relationships are tighter in the Netflix show. Background characters become important characters in Retsuko’s life. 

I’d highly suggest you watch the mini episodes first :’D because like I said THERE ARE some references, and even though the story is mostly different, those references are like cute little easter eggs that make the show more enjoyable. It’s 100 episodes, but 1 min long each, you can watch them all in an hour and 40 min. Then move to the Netflix show because it’s REEEEALLY good uwu
