Two skin palettes, each composed of 20 geneticized & townified natural tones including defaults for S1-4, an alien default and a mannequin default. In both palettes, half the natural tones are freckled (a) and the other half non-freckled (b). I used skinblends by @lilith-sims (specifics under the cut).
Beside the base regular sets, you also get optional sets of repo’d showerproof skins for a variety of body shapes.
These palettes conflict with each other so they cannot be used alongside each other. On the plus side, it also means that they are interchangeable with each other: if you're tired of using one, replace it with the other one in your downloads folder and all your sims will update automatically. Both palettes also conflict in some capacity with all the other skin palettes I've made.

1. "Rusty Spoon"
This one was made using Lilith's Primal (b) and Spattergroit (a) sets. Both have tweaked/added tones compared to Lilith's originals + they have all the edits that I shared in my Primal-based and Spattergroit-based palettes: added elder wrinkles, replaced teeth and added TM-EM fat body texture in the case of Spattergroit.
The alien skin is my edit of Lilith's green alien without spots, but further color-edited to be a warmer green.

2. "Spaghetti Dinner"
This one was made using Lilith's Eve (b) and Spattergroit sets. The 'a' skins ("Spaghetti") are a blend of Spattergroit & Eve with added freckles. The face freckles are by jessi; the body freckles are by @episims, taken from this amazing freckle overlay box by Epi and @themeasureofasim. Each freckled skin has a different freckle pattern and density.
All skins have the edits that I shared in my Spattergroit-based and Eve-based palettes: added elder wrinkles, replaced teeth and added TM-EM fat body texture. The alien skin can also be found as custom here.

Hey folks, just checking in to state I'm still alive. I've been creating lots of stuff (like usual), but as I've returned to my pre-December schedule, releases will be much more sporadic.
I also have some exciting news: I have learned how to create skin combo's (many thanks to CelestialSpider for teaching me)! I've wanted to start using bodyshapes for a while now, but the lack of linked skintones is a big problem for me, so with this new knowledge I can actually start adding in bodyshapes! I've made 2 combo's so far: Faerie+M Androgyny & Athletic Girl+Harem Dude. The former is texture-referenced to an EAxis-shaped skin and the latter one will be too. No pictures as tumblr would probably flag them.
Anyways, if anyone wants a particular combo that hasn't been done yet, do ask. There's more gaps than entries in "The Big Spreadsheet of Showerproof Skintones"
A skin palette composed of 8 geneticized & townified natural tones including defaults for S1-4 and a mannequin default. The textures for skins 1-6 and mannequin are based on some of the Whysim Remix blue-toned skins shared by @h0nkytonkangels here; skins 7-8 use two of these Whysim misc skin 29 recolors also by @h0nkytonkangels.

• the skins are geneticized (except the alien default) and townified
• the number at the end of every file name (e.g. 0.08, 0.1, 0.18…) gives you the genetic value of that skin (to learn more about skin genetics and how to edit them, see Rikkulidea’s tutorial)
• if you don’t want all 21 skins, you can absolutely pick and choose, the genetic spectrum won’t be disrupted

The showerproof sets
What are showerproof skins?
They are skins linked to a custom body shape (or body shapes). When you give a showerproof skin to a sim, that sim will have the body shape that the skin is linked to when they are nude (taking a bath, streaking, doing ACR stuff, etc.). Showerproof skins have no effect whatsoever on clothing, because clothes use their own meshes.
The showerproof sets are repo’d to the regular skins above: you need the regular set for the showerproof sets to work. Like the regular set, they’re geneticized. You’ll have to choose if you want them to be townified or not (townified skins can appear on new townies and NPCs that spawn, non-townified skins cannot).
The required meshes are included, don’t forget to choose between blockfeet/sexyfeet/Marvine feet and Maxis hands/smooth hands. If you’re missing meshes, the affected sims will appear as floating heads or will be missing half their bodies when naked (it won’t break your game in any way, it’s just definitely not the intended result).

The HD meshes are by BlueHeavenSims, with a couple tweaks (smoothed normals on the forearms, fixed shoulders on the LBB fat morphs) - they have sexyfeet, smooth hands, 3D nipples and are high-poly (6,454 poly for full-body AG; 8,601 poly for full-body LBB).
The low-poly meshes are top and bottom meshes I made based on Marvine’s original AG and Synapticsim’s original LBB v.2.0 (I added morphs with BlueHeavenSims’s morphs as reference) - they have blockfeet, Maxis hands and are low-poly (1,960 for full-body AG; 2,186 poly for full-body LBB).

Note on the included meshes: they’re slightly edited versions of the top and bottom meshes shared by CelestialSpider on the Plumb Bob Keep (smoothed some kinks, closed the thigh gap on the fat morphs, reduced breast size on TF).

All of these skins are tooltipped, have their custom thumbnails and are sortindexed so that they will appear tidily set after set in your custom skins bin. If you use other skins though, there is a chance that those will appear jumbled up with mine if their sortindex numbers happen to clash. It’s only an aesthetic issue but if it bothers you, see this tutorial by Kurimas on how to change the order in which clothes appear in the CAS catalogue (it works for skins and other bodyshop content too).
An alternative to showerproof skins for body shapes
[Showerproof skins are skins linked to a custom body shape (or body shapes). When you give a showerproof skin to a sim, that sim will have the body shape that the skin is linked to when they are nude (taking a bath, streaking, doing ACR stuff, etc.). Showerproof skins have no effect whatsoever on clothing, because clothes use their own meshes. You can find all the showerproof skins I’ve shared here.]
Let’s say you like custom body shapes but you don’t like showerproof skins. That’s fair. For one thing, showerproof skins are a hassle to assign to pre-existing sims through simPE. You may also dislike not having control over which exact body shapes your sims’ babies are born with, and not finding out until they get older. Or the whole thing may just seem daunting and like a lot of files to download.
Of course you can just give regular skins to your sims who wear body-shaped clothing, but they’ll revert to their Maxis body shape when they are nude. If you don’t love that either, I have a suggestion that might work for you:
Give your sims who use custom body shapes the “Never Nude” trait from Hexagonal-bipyramid’s 3t2 Traits Project, alongside corresponding body-shaped naked swimsuits. [By “naked swimsuit” I mean an outfit that is just a nude body mesh with no texture, categorized as swimwear. I made such swimsuits for a whole bunch of body shapes over here.] With the Birthday Suit mod, your sims with the trait will now be wearing the appropriate body shape when naked, when they otherwise would revert to their Maxis default.
An unfortunate caveat is that this method doesn’t work well for trans body shapes (more details under the cut).

How to set it up
1. Download the 3t2 traits from this post by Hexagonal-bipyramid (either the catalog or collection-only version, whatever you prefer). You don’t need all the traits, just “trait_neverNude” and “trait_MAIN”. You also need Cyjon’s Smarter EP Check and HB’s Inventory Check. That’s 4 files that you should have by the end of this step.
2. Download the “Birthday Suit” mod. Read the post carefully and choose your version. You’ll get 3 files but the only one you really need is “neverNude_nakedIsNowSwimsuit”. Feel free to discard the other two if you don’t care for what they offer.
3. You must have these 5 files:
Put them in one folder so you don’t forget that they all go together, and put that folder in your downloads folder.
4. Now you need naked swimwear. Let’s say you have an AF sim in mind who you want to have the Melodie9 fat AF body shape. You can download the Melodie9 fat AF naked swimwear from this post (don’t forget to choose between the blockfeet and sexyfeet meshes) and add it to your downloads folder.
5. Time to boot up your game to try things out. In game, go to the household where your Melodie9 fat AF sim lives. Buy her the new naked swimwear and set it as her swimwear. Then put the Never Nude trait in her inventory. It will be in the Build & Buy catalog, either in the Misc/Misc section or in your collections depending on which version you downloaded.
6. Once the trait is in the sim’s inventory, all that’s left is testing if things are working as intended. Have the sim take a bath or shower. When she gets naked, she should have a Melodie9 fat AF nude body.
If she’s wearing a swimsuit, you must have skipped the part where you set the nude swimwear as her swimwear. If she's naked but still has the Maxis AF shape, double-check that you have the 5 required files shown in step 3 in your downloads folder, and that the sim has the Never Nude trait in her inventory. If you didn’t forget any files, you may have a mod conflict (the extent of my knowledge of these things ends here).

Pros
- No need to download showerproof skins and meshes, all of your sims use the same regular skins regardless of their body shapes.
- You can assign body shapes to pre-existing sims much more easily than with showerproof skins.
- Unlike with showerproof skins which affect genetics, this method is non-committal: if you want to give your Melodie9 fat AF sim a different body shape, just set her swimsuit to a different naked swimsuit. And if you want her to go back to the Maxis AF shape, you can just remove the Never Nude Trait from her inventory. This ease of customization means that your sims can have much bigger weight variations throughout their lives.
- You have complete control over which body shapes your sims born in-game will grow up to have (this may not be a pro for you if you like having the game decide for you).
Cons
- Now of course if you want your sim to take a dip in the pool and wear an actual swimsuit while in there, you’ll have to remember to change her swimwear beforehand. If you’re playing a beach neighborhood where your sims are in their swimwear half the time, it may not be super convenient. You may not find that to be an issue if you’re happy with some nudism in your neighborhood.
- Sadly, this method doesn’t really work for trans body shapes. That’s because you’re only affecting the body mesh that a given sim will use when naked - not skin textures. So technically you could give a flat-chested mesh to your trans-masc F sim, but the texture applied over that mesh will still be the F body texture.
- You’ll also see a much tamer version of this problem on EF sims with some non-trans body shapes, specifically the shapes that use the same mesh for AF & EF. That’s because on regular skins, the AF and EF body textures are different, with EF boobs painted lower than the AF ones. On showerproof skins for body shapes that use the same mesh for AF & EF, we just link the EF body to the same textures as AF so the textures match the mesh, but with regular skins you’ll see a mismatch. It may not be very noticeable depending on the body shape and the skins you use.
(A niche solution to those last 2 points if you know how to make clothing recolors would be to recolor the naked swimsuits of your choosing using the right body skin textures.)

That’s all the pros and cons I can think of right now, let me know if I missed something. I hope this method can be of use to people who have been wanting to play with custom body shapes but are finding them too inconvenient to set up. Feel free to ask questions. A skin palette based on a selection of skins from @withlovefromsimtown / Lifa's Birthday Suit set. It comprises 11 geneticized and townified skins, including defaults for S1-S2-S3-S4 and the alien skin (check out the original set for the zombie & genie defaults).

The textures are Lifa's, though I made some edits: I changed the color of some of the scalps so they would better match the faces, replaced the teeth with teeth taken from io's 0320 skins, added a few more wrinkles to the elder faces and made the area around their eyes a bit lighter.

• the number at the end of every file name (e.g. 0.08, 0.1, 0.18…) gives you the genetic value of that skin (to learn more about skin genetics and how to edit them, see Rikkulidea’s tutorial)
• if you don’t want all 11 skins, you can absolutely pick and choose, the genetic spectrum won’t be disrupted
• everyone TU-EU has the appropriate fat, normal and fit states (for the alien textures to show up as they should, please use Argon’s alien and zombie fitness fix)
• toddlers have the cute toddler teeth and babies have no teeth
• elders have wrinkles
• the non-default skins will appear in CAS in the custom skins bin with these thumbnails:

The showerproof sets
What are showerproof skins?
They are skins linked to a custom body shape (or body shapes). When you give a showerproof skin to a sim, that sim will have the body shape that the skin is linked to when they are nude (taking a bath, streaking, doing ACR stuff, etc.). Showerproof skins have no effect whatsoever on clothing, because clothes use their own meshes.
The showerproof sets are repo’d to the regular skins above: you need the regular set for the showerproof sets to work. Like the regular set, they’re geneticized, except for the alien ones. You’ll have to choose if you want them to be townified or not (townified skins can appear on new townies and NPCs that spawn, non-townified skins cannot).
The required meshes are included, don’t forget to choose between blockfeet/sexyfeet/Marvine feet and Maxis hands/smooth hands. If you’re missing meshes, the affected sims will appear as floating heads or will be missing half their bodies when naked (it won’t break your game in any way, it’s just definitely not the intended result).

Note on the included meshes: the original nude fat family meshes are from Melodie9’s MTS, but turns out those are, well, not how top and bottom meshes are supposed to be: all of them are full-body, doubling the polycounts unnecessarily. So I fixed that and took the opportunity to add preg morphs to the teen meshes.

Note on the included meshes: you’ll have to choose between 2 versions, either “HD” or “low poly” (previews are included - disregard the skin textures, they aren’t part of this set).
The HD meshes are by BlueHeavenSims, with a couple tweaks (smoothed normals on the forearms, fixed shoulders on the LBB fat morphs) - they have sexyfeet, smooth hands, 3D nipples and are high-poly (6,454 poly for full-body AG; 8,601 poly for full-body LBB).
The low-poly meshes are top and bottom meshes I made based on Marvine’s original AG and Synapticsim’s original LBB v.2.0 (I added morphs with BlueHeavenSims’s morphs as reference) - they have blockfeet, Maxis hands and are low-poly (1,960 for full-body AG; 2,186 poly for full-body LBB).

Note on the included meshes: they’re slightly edited versions of the top and bottom meshes shared by CelestialSpider on the Plumb Bob Keep (smoothed some kinks, closed the thigh gap on the fat morphs, reduced breast size on TF).

All of these skins are tooltipped, have their custom thumbnails and are sortindexed so that they will appear tidily set after set in your custom skins bin. If you use other skins though, there is a chance that those will appear jumbled up with mine if their sortindex numbers happen to clash. It’s only an aesthetic issue but if it bothers you, see this tutorial by Kurimas on how to change the order in which clothes appear in the CAS catalogue (it works for skins and other bodyshop content too).
