In Hugo, Oklahoma, there is a section of a cemetery that is call Showmen's Rest. It is reserved for for circus workers and showmen. Technically my great grandfather could be reburied there—he was a long term roustabout and animal handler in the 1930s, when he wasn't playing exhibition baseball games with the likes of Babe Ruth and Satchel Paige. I think he'd probably haunt me if I reburied him in Oklahoma, far from his family plot in Rhode Island.

While I have issues with Greatest Showmen the soundtrack is good...And this idea came to me one day after watching an episode of one piece that had Buggy in it. So this crossover happened in my brain when the song From Now On played and just...its been festering in my mind and I didn't want to draw it because one I have way to high of standards of what I want to do and I am my worst critic and let's be honest someone out there has done the same cross over. And then brain went...fek it, let's just do it, and if it's not as great as it could have been we can do it again later in life and something something we can learn.

The fairground travellers always fascinate me. Not always the friendliest folk with us gorgers (non romanys )but so hardworking and quite amazing how they stay upright on some of the more hair raising rides, but they’ve probably been doing it most of their lives.
