I like how at the end of the ep haixia cannot look in hailou eyes when saving them .
is it because when he did look smtn in him shifted or is it because he cannot bear to see hailou teary scared eyes looking at the monster he created unknowingly ?

The wonders of the man made structure
My babiest of buds Shrimpie finally moved on to bigger and better things last night. I knew it would happen, I was just never sure when. He surprised me plenty of times by rallying back from what I would have called the point of no return for any other fish. He definitely had a will to live that makes me never regret not culling that tiny little straggly fry.
Man he was so STINKIN cute, gave the tiniest little kisses. Bye bye lil nug, keep on shrimpin’
Someone said haixia turned the blade towards himself one last time , for he have never known how to choose himself over hailou and it kills me a little everyday.
Aw, just found little Shrimpie all ballooned up :(
I’ve mentioned before he’s the sickly victorian child of the bunch, small and peaky and always got one thing or another going on. He’s been doing well lately, although I noticed his operculums curled a bit at his health check a few weeks ago.
As such I’m not gonna do anything too harsh to treat him. It could be just a weird little thing that passes (I’ve thought he was near death before and he just picked up on his own) or it could be anything up to spontaneous organ failure, I wouldn’t be surprised either way. I put him in the basket so he doesn’t get swept up under things and nobody bothers him him. I offered him some peas and he ate, I may give him an epsom soak later, maybe some metro gel. But if it’s his time I’d rather he goes in the big tank with all his buddies around than alone in a QT with medication that’s probably just going to kick the can down the road a bit but not really fix the underlying issue, if it does anything at all.
He’s so Stinkin Cute
BEHOLD!! SHRIMP!!
