“Now that’s just cruel and unusual, boss. Even for you...” and he clicks his tongue, casts a look somewhere between disgust and f e a r and the garment. SUITS. Walking prisons, he occasionally described them as. Just the idea of wearing one could make his skin crawl.
He’d wear it, he’d do anything Jim ordered him to —but you’d be damned sure he’d complain the whole time.

“Have I given you the impression that I care? Your disinterest disinterests me.” Spat unceremoniously over the soothing warmth of a fresh brewed cuppa, elongated digits curled comfortably around its steaming heat to soothe old bones. A waiting exhale to dispel the tickle of gathering moisture at the tip of his nose, casual angling of braised brow to the gaping maw of his door.
“Do be kind enough to show yourself out.” Bravery to mask the unease spending even a s e c o n d in Moriarty’s presence constructs. How cleverly the skin crawls at the sound of his voice. M a d n e s s in it’s purest and most maniacal form left its stain upon the dingey rug beneath their feet.

Well. This was going to make his day a little more difficult.

“ You know, I found myself beginning to look forward to your spontaneous visits--- so much so, that I thought it was high time I paid one of my own. I do hope it’s not a BAD TIME... ”

‘ never said it DID. ’ a finger trails his cheek, finding its way to his chin. the criminal may he significantly shorter than mycroft, but that does not stop him from touching mycroft this way, even if the tone shifts from dominating to DARING.
“Exactly.” Because it didn’t. Mycroft perhaps was not particularly fond of such things, but he did enjoy a roll in the sheets from time to time. Sex did not alarm him. He just... He didn’t like it in excess, and he prefered his encounters to be crisp and clean.
The other’s touch was not something that Mycroft reacted to. He just stared back, defiant eyes meeting Jim’s daring ones. “Just because we’ve never, ah, you know, it does not mean that I am scared of it,” the man stated. “I am just not a common whore that spreads his legs for every pretty man that gives me a kiss.”

For movie or TV muses, what is your muse’s favorite scene? Why? Can you show a screenshot?
Was it right to say he was jealous?
For numerous reasons, Q would never be a tried field agent. Not for lack of attempt on his own part, much of it stemmed from select overheads refusing him the chance. He was known to be soft of heart and too often expressed his opinions of the actions he would need to carry out. He wasn’t weak or of flimsy will by any means - in fact, the opposite.
Entirely too often he had proven capable of finding loopholes, straying from the task at hand and figuring a way to reduce damage to innocent bystanders, even if it meant costing the success of a mission. This was not what the organisation wanted in a field agent. His mind was too valuable and his adeption at handling security systems and corporate clean up was much better suited to being placed behind a desk, directing action and finagling tools for the operatives to use. A modern MacGuyver, if you will. All of this on top of certain health concerns that put him far too much at risk, as well as risked the safety of anyone who might work beside him in certain circumstances. Keep him close, keep him home.
Too many of the field agents he had worked with had made it clear they were doing a job and thought of their missions - eliminate so-and-so, remove such object from the public eye, clear away a certain source of trouble. Even the language they used made everything impersonal.
“ It always makes me feel a litle melancholy, grand ol’ warship being ignaminiously hauled away for scrap. The inevitability of time, don’t you think? What do you see? ”
And then there was 007. His approach with every new agent he worked with played out unlike this one. His attempts at bringing in a human touch by preceeding an assignment with an attempt at conversation, be it the history of a meeting place’s significance in the grand scheme of the human story, the styling influences behind the intercomm music, or in this case: theory and impressions of a piece of art.
“ A bloody big ship. ”
Naturally. Of course the agent would attempt to walk away - His approach was unconventional, and a human touch to something that was, quite literally, just a job.
“ Double-o Seven. I’m your new Quartermaster. ”
What proceeded from there, however, was entirely different from anything Danny had ever experienced working with the agents. An annoyed huff, and this? Snark. Banter was traded without hesitations, minor insults and a clear groundwork for how their professional relationship would be playing out over the next stretch of time. Would it be a few weeks or less? Or years to come? This might be one agent that actually provides something personal to his work.
007 was human. Perhaps he might even try to learn the man’s name, in time. Surprised? Yes. Pleased? Time would tell.

There was a few positives to when you were an assassin sent out on a job on Halloween. One of them being that when you had to kill someone and were covered in blood, people automatically assumed it was fake blood and didn’t question anything. Thankfully the walk to Jim’s wasn’t long so she didn’t have to deal with prying eyes for all too long. The second she got to his door, she banged upon the wood with significant force, not caring about the marks of blood that hit the oak. ‘God is this even worth the money anymore?’ Rosamund mumbled quietly to herself as she waited for him to open up, her energy not as lively as it had been before her little mission.
