                    THE   ENDLESS   DANCE   OF   JAMES   MORIARTY   AND   SHERLOCK   HOLMES   .          as it was always meant to be         ;         two minds         ,         alight with the same frequencies         ,         radio waves bouncing off of each other in a singing melody  .         it’s almost like one of those nature documentaries that john always likes to put on         :         circling around each other like wild beasts         ,         waiting for the other to take the first misstep .         &         ,         really         ,         sherlock is just about bare         ,         standing proudly         ,         face direct to the wind  .         he won’t lose this battle         ,         not if he can’t help it  .         TWO STEPS FORWARD         ,         ONE BACK  .         standing in the eye of a hurricane         ,         just slightly aware that the walls are closing in around you  .         love is something that the detective hardly likes to consider         ,         not even in his wildest fantasies         ,         because it is weakening  .         but         ,         there’s just something about having someone try to blow you up that one can’t ignore  .                                        “           perhaps   .          ”                                 voice emanates in a low purr         ,         although his breath hitches as jim takes hold of his chin  .         heartbeat imperceptibly speeding up         ,         plump lips falling open  .         this is it  .         this is where things come to a head .         SPARKS  !         fire         ,         heat         ,         building in his veins         ,         the feel of another’s lips against his  .         they devour each other         ,         or at least try to  .         feeding into each other’s flames         ,         &        sherlock’s surprised the kitchen isn’t abruptly aflame .         he cannot stop to breathe         ,         nose smashed uncomfortably against the side of jim’s         ,         arms winding around the other’s form like a vice  .         they’ll go down together  .
