It was one of those days. One of those days were things continuously went wrong, one thing after the other. The only thing the blonde could do was to push through the rest of the day, hoping life was done screwing with him for awhile.
“Why are history books always the heaviest...” Tristan grumbled underneath his breath, struggling with the heavy stack of books in his arms. A whole new, well- used, batch of books had arrived, and it was part of his job to take them to their correct sections and place them on the correct shelves. He was grateful to have this job of course; regardless of the labor. He was pretty lucky his aunt gave him this job at her bookshop, otherwise he didn’t know what the hell he’d do.
“History, history, historyyy..” It couldn’t be that hard to find the history section, the store wasn’t huge. Yet, every passing moment left the books in his arms feeling heavier. “I should work out,” Tristan sighed, rambling to himself as he paced down the different aisles. “Then I could carry books like these with no problem; it’d be like “Ooh, Tristan, you do such a good job”, ‘n like yeah, yeah I do, could carry books all day--” The boy’s words were cut off by a sharp yell, as somebody had left a short step stool in the middle of one of the aisles. With the collection of books in his arms, there was no way to see it, therefore resulting in a clumsy trip. The books laid around in a mess, and Tristan found himself laying flat on the floor and staring at someone’s feet.
“S-Shit!! I’m really sorry!”
