Instead, it's somewhere unfathomably dark.

Shubao's eyes took a moment to adjust before noticing more detail of their surroundings thanks to candle lighting laid about the area. However, none of it brought her comfort.

They were in a room seemingly made of only carved stone. They were in a pit of some kind that seemed to be fashioned as a holding cell of sorts but also had a podium in the center with the heaviest light there beaming down on it.

That's when she looked up and felt a pit form in her stomach. Above them were rows of seats filled with numerous figures looking down at them, but at the center were ten figures she quickly recognized. But that can't be possible.

She looked to Liu Er for some form of reassurance and claim that they weren't actually where she feared they were.*

Liu Er...where are we?
