[Part 1 of 4] Earlier in February, I made a Bluesky thread of artwork and playlists that originally stemmed from the popular “1 Like = 1 OTP” meme. I finally had to call it at 32 OC Pairings, but had a lot of fun!
These were some of the newer artwork I drew for the Valentine’s Month occasion, to help pad a few of my parings that were in need of attention. Here’s the first set of these OTPs, in this digital sketch style that I grew very fond of.
Finally kicked myself to design the outfits for my first trio of Genshin OCs -- Shuili, Huojin, and Baiyun!
Genshin's art direction really tested my patience with outfit detail, I would normally not go this far and I know it's barely pushing how intricate Genshin can truly get. It was fun to make things shiny and patterned tho (and with inexplicable chest windows--), and I think these feel more improved from when I originally worked on their outfit concepts, at least for the siblings.
I also added some polished Supernote sketch of the adepti siblings and their respective partners -- Ilys and Vishikh, who both belong to LittleScorpio @ Bluesky
It only occurred to me moments after sharing my full-colored art for my Genshin OCs that I never shared their digital concepts, lmao >>
This is a good time as any to share some retouched sketches, along with some newer stuff. Some more details can be found in my ongoing Twitter thread for my eInk sketches, and in my Ko-fi gallery!
Also, the notes for their kits are just based on how I'd want each of them to feel in Genshin's gameplay. Some parts are in need of an update, but this gives a good gist. I'll add some more details under the cut /o/!

[1] -- Shuili's kit concept. A Hydro Claymore, she's meant as a Sub-DPS, Shielder, Enabler, and Healing support. Think... Xinyan and Barbara, but without the annoying wet status.
[2] -- Huojin's kit concept. Pyro Sword, and your typical Main driver + On-field DPS, with some support capabilities for follow-up reactions. But his strength is a Pyro infusion -- think Diluc, Hu Tao, Alhaitham.
[3] -- Mist Unveiler, mother of the adepti siblings Shuili and Huojin (with her own adeptus title lmao). She's a supporting NPC in their team's story, but would be a Hydro Catalyst healer, similar to Kokomi.
[4] -- Baiyun's kit concept. Anemo Polearm, a crowd-control and Elemental damage support, kinda like Sucrose. Also, she's going to be revisited with a more Inazuma-style outfit (and vision case), but I've kept her name and adjust her story as an outlander there.
[5] -- This was from the last set of sketches I did, but it seemed more relevant here. An outdated concept for Shuili's fox form.
[6] -- Baiyun's Seelie pet! Just like the commemorative ones from the game, but more pointed ears and some small wings.
[7] -- Don't mind this, just Baiyun catching potential feels for the cute dancer Clarabelle, who belongs to Jinkz (I mostly wanted to doodle Clara, I added in Baiyun for fun haha--)
Finally some updated color tests for my Genshin OC trio, until I have the drive to tackle their full outfits \o/ Here's hoping I managed with the latin in their constellation names (if not then ah well, they took ages and an attempt was made--)
Over the past couple months, I've been trying out an e-ink tablet for a more tactile method of jotting notes and reminders (the model is a Ratta Supernote A6X, for anyone wondering). It's also become a decent sketch pad, too!
I started posting some sketches on my Ko-fi, and will try to do the same on my other accounts when I have enough worth sharing! Here are a few from late last year and last month; many of these sketches are lightly retouched in Clip Studio to clean away extra debris or fix something I was imprecise with, but the monochrome grey is fun to work with, so I'll keep it /o/
Realization that I never shared my newest OCs from this year, at least on most of my accounts / v \ ) Anyway I got into Genshin Impact since last year, and I'm in it deep enough to make a couple fan characters.
First one is Shuili, older half-sister of my adepti duo. I made her before Candace’s reveal, but her kit was me basically going "If Genshin won't give us a Hydro Claymore or Shielder yet then I'll make one myself--"
The 2nd one is her younger half-brother, Huojin. He's heavily based off the huodou, but is otherwise ur very typical on-field Pyro DPS -- just with a bit of extra utility so he can work off-field too.
Overall, I wanted to wait until I gave both my OCs a proper color test / finalized their designs, but with Genshin's complex art direction, I'll need more time for that. Hopefully I can explore their characters more tho, even outside of Genshin.
